Description of the virtues of Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA)
بيان مناقب علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a roasted bird. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “O Allah! Send to me the most beloved of Your creation to eat this bird with me.” Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came and ate it with him. Tirmidhi, and he said: This hadith is gharib (strange). Hasan, narrated by Tirmidhi.

انس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، نبی ﷺ کے پاس ایک بھنا ہوا پرندہ تھا ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اے اللہ ! اپنی مخلوق میں سے اپنے محبوب ترین شخص کو میرے پاس بھیج جو میرے ساتھ اس پرندے کو کھائے ۔‘‘ علی ؓ ان کے پاس تشریف لائے اور انہوں نے آپ کے ساتھ تناول فرمایا ۔ ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ins bayan karte hain, Nabi ke pass ek bhuna hua parinda tha, Aap ne farmaya: “Aye Allah! Apni makhlooq mein se apne mehboob tareen shakhs ko mere pass bhej jo mere saath is parinde ko khaye.” Ali unke pass tashreef laye aur unhon ne Aap ke saath tanavul farmaya. Tirmizi, aur unhon ne farmaya: Yah hadees ghareeb hai. Hasan, Rawah al-Tirmizi.
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَيْرٌ فَقَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ ائْتِنِي بِأَحَبِّ خَلْقِكَ إِلَيْكَ يَأْكُلُ مَعِي هَذَا الطَّيْرَ» فجَاء عَلِيٌّ فَأَكَلَ مَعَهُ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ
