Description of the virtues of Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA)
بيان مناقب علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه

Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) established brotherhood between his Companions. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came with tears in his eyes and said, "O Messenger of Allah! You have established brotherhood between your Companions, but you have not established brotherhood between me and anyone else." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "You are my brother in this world and in the Hereafter." Tirmidhi. And he (Tirmidhi) said, "This hadith is hasan gharib." Its chain of narration is weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi.

ابن عمر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اپنے صحابہ کے درمیان بھائی چارہ قائم کیا تو علی ؓ اشکبار آنکھوں کے ساتھ آئے اور عرض کیا : آپ ﷺ نے اپنے صحابہ ؓ کے درمیان بھائی چارہ قائم کیا ہے ، لیکن آپ نے میرے اور کسی اور کے درمیان بھائی چارہ قائم نہیں فرمایا ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تم میرے دنیا اور آخرت میں بھائی ہو ۔‘‘ ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ibn Umar bayan karte hain, Rasul Allah ne apne sahaba ke darmiyaan bhai chara qaim kya to Ali ashkbaar aankhon ke sath aaye aur arz kya : Aap ne apne sahaba ke darmiyaan bhai chara qaim kya hai, lekin aap ne mere aur kisi aur ke darmiyaan bhai chara qaim nahi farmaya, Aap ne farmaya :'' Tum mere duniya aur aakhriat mein bhai ho. '' Tirmizi, aur unhon ne farmaya : Yah hadees hasan gharib hai. Isnaad zaeef, riwayat al-Tirmizi.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: آخَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ فَجَاءَ عَلِيٌّ تَدْمَعُ عَيْنَاهُ فَقَالَ: آخَيْتَ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِكَ وَلم تُؤاخِ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ أُحُدٍ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنْتَ أَخِي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ
