Mishkat al-Masabih 6230
Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reported the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as saying, “After me, follow (the way of) my two companions, Abu Bakr and ‘Umar, adhere to the way of ‘Ammar, and hold fast to the advice of Umm ‘Abd (meaning ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud).” In the narration of Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him), it is stated: “Confirm what Ibn Mas’ud tells you.” In this narration, instead of the phrase “and hold fast to the advice of Umm ‘Abd,” the words mentioned above are used. (Sunan al-Tirmidhi).

ابن مسعود ؓ نبی ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ میرے بعد میرے دو صحابہ ابوبکر و عمر کی اقتدا کرنا ، عمار کی راہ پر چلنا ، ام عبد (عبداللہ بن مسعود ؓ) کی وصیت کو لازم پکڑنا ۔‘‘\n حذیفہ ؓ کی روایت میں ہے :’’ ابن مسعود جو بات تم سے کہیں اس کی تصدیق کرنا ۔‘‘ اس میں ابن ام عبد (عبداللہ بن مسعود ؓ) کی وصیت کو لازم پکڑنا ۔‘‘ کے الفاظ کے بجائے مذکورہ بالا الفاظ ہیں ۔ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی ۔\n
Ibne Masood RA Nabi SAW se riwayat karte hain, Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Mere baad mere do sahaba Abubakar o Umar ki iqtida karna, Ammar ki rah par chalna, Umm Abd (Abdullah bin Masood RA) ki wasiyat ko lazim pakadna.''\n Hazifa RA ki riwayat mein hai: ''Ibne Masood jo baat tum se kahen us ki tasdeeq karna.'' Is mein Ibne Umm Abd (Abdullah bin Masood RA) ki wasiyat ko lazim pakadna.'' Ke alfaz ke bajaey mazkoora bala alfaz hain.\n Asnada Hasan, Rawah Al-Tirmidhi.
عَنِ\ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: اقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي مِنْ أَصْحَابِي: أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَاهْتَدُوا بِهَدْيِ عمّارٍ وَتَمَسَّكُوا بِعَهْدِ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ\
