Chapter on Yemen, Sham, and the mention of Owais Qarni
باب ذكر اليمن والشام وأويس القرني

Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Trials will appear from this side, meaning the east, and harshness and heartlessness will be found among the Bedouins who live in tents, belonging to the tribes of Rabi'ah and Mudar, who follow the tails of camels and cows.” Agreed upon.

ابومسعود انصاری ؓ نبی ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اس طرف یعنی مشرق کی طرف سے فتنے نمودار ہوں گے ، جفا اور سخت دلی جنگل میں رہنے والے خیمہ نشینوں ربیعہ اور مضر (قبیلوں) سے تعلق رکھنے والے ان لوگوں میں ہو گی جو اونٹوں اور بیلوں کی دموں کے پیچھے چل رہے ہوں گے ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Abu Masood Ansari RA Nabi SAW se riwayat karte hain, Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Iss taraf yani mashriq ki taraf se fitne numudar honge, jafa aur sakht dili jungle mein rehne wale khema nishin Rabiya aur Muzar (qabilon) se taluq rakhne wale un logon mein hogi jo oonton aur bailon ki dumon ke peeche chal rahe honge.'' Muttafiq Alaih.
وَعَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مِنْ هَهُنَا جَاءَتِ الْفِتَنُ - نَحْوَ الْمَشْرِقِ - وَالْجَفَاءُ وَغِلَظُ الْقُلُوبِ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ أَهْلِ الْوَبَرِ عِنْدَ أُصُولِ أَذْنَابِ الْإِبِلِ وَالْبَقَرِ فِي رَبِيعَةَ وَمُضَرَ» . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ
