‘Abdallah b. az-Zubair said that when God’s Messenger uttered the salutation at the end of his prayer he used to say as loudly as he could. “There is no god but God alone who has no partner. To Him belongs the kingdom, to Him praise is due, and He is omnipotent. There is no might or power except in God. There is no god but God whom alone we worship. To Hirn belongs wealth, to Him belongs grace, and to Him is worthy praise accorded. There is no god but God to whom we are sincere in devotion, even though the infidels should disapprove’ (Al-Qur’an; 40:14). Muslim transmitted it.

عبداللہ بن زبیر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، جب رسول اللہ ﷺ نماز سے سلام پھیرتے تو بلند آواز سے یہ دعا پڑھتے :’’ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ، وہ یکتا ہے ، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ، اسی کے لیے بادشاہت اور اسی کے لیے تعریف ہے ، اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے ، گناہ سے بچنا اور نیکی کرنا محض اللہ کی توفیق سے ہی ممکن ہے ، اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ، ہم صرف اسی کی عبادت کرتے ہیں ، اسی کے لیے نعمت و فضل اور اسی کے لیے بہترین تعریف ہے ، اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ، ہم اسی کے لیے اطاعت کو خالص کرتے ہیں ، خواہ کافر اسے نا پسند کریں ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔
Abdullah bin Zubair bayan karte hain, jab Rasool Allah namaz se salam pherte to buland aawaz se yeh dua parhte: Allah ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin, woh yakta hai, is ka koi sharik nahin, isi ke liye badshahat aur isi ke liye tareef hai, aur woh har cheez par qadir hai, gunah se bachna aur neki karna mehza Allah ki taufeeq se hi mumkin hai, Allah ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin, hum sirf isi ki ibadat karte hain, isi ke liye naimat o fazal aur isi ke liye behtarin tareef hai, Allah ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin, hum isi ke liye ita'at ko khalis karte hain, chahe kafir ise napasand karen. Riwayat Muslim.
وَعَن عبد الله بن الزبير قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ يَقُولُ بِصَوْتِهِ الْأَعْلَى: «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّه لَا إِلَه إِلَّا الله لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَلَا نَعْبُدُ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ لَهُ النِّعْمَةُ وَلَهُ الْفَضْلُ وَلَهُ الثَّنَاءُ الْحَسَنُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدّين وَلَو كره الْكَافِرُونَ» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
