It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ordered the date-palms of Banu Nadir to be burnt and cut. These palms were at Buwaira. Qutaibah and Ibn Rumh in their versions of the tradition have added, ‘so Allah, the Glorious and Exalted, revealed the verse – َُكْتْ تَرمَا قَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ لِينَةٍ أَو َِ يَ الْفَاسِقِينَّ ِ وَلِيُخْزمُوهَا قَائِمَةً عَلَى أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذْنِ َّللا [It was with Allah´s permission that you cut down (some of) the date palm trees and left (others) standing on their stems, in order that He might disgrace the evildoers.] (Al-Hashr - 5).
حضرت عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بنو نضیر کے کھجوروں کے درخت جو بویرہ نامی نخلستان میں تھے، جلوائے اور کٹوا دئیے، قتیبہ اور ابن رمح کی روایت میں یہ اضافہ ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت اتاری، ”جو کھجوریں تم نے کاٹیں یا ان کو ان کی جڑوں پر کھڑا رہنے دیا تو یہ اللہ کے حکم سے ہوا، تاکہ فاسقوں کو رسوا کرے۔“
Hazrat Abdullah (Razi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Banu Nadeer ke khajooron ke darakht jo Buwayrah nami nakhlistan mein the, jalwaye aur katwa diye. Qutaibah aur Ibn Rumh ki riwayat mein yeh izafa hai to Allah Ta'ala ne yeh ayat utari, "Jo khajoorein tum ne kaateen ya un ko un ki jadon par khada rehne diya to yeh Allah ke hukm se hua, taake fasiqon ko ruswa kare."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ، سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَرَّقَ نَخْلَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ وَقَطَعَ وَهِيَ الْبُوَيْرَةُ . زَادَ قُتَيْبَةُ وَابْنُ رُمْحٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِمَا فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { مَا قَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ لِينَةٍ أَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا قَائِمَةً عَلَى أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَلِيُخْزِيَ الْفَاسِقِينَ}
