Ibn Umar (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم) had a race of the horses which had been especially prepared for the purpose, from Hafya' to Thaniyyat al-Wada' (the latter being the winning post), and of those which had not been trained, from Thaniyya to the mosque of Banu Zuraiq, and Ibn Umar (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) was among those who took part in this race.
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تضمیر شدہ گھوڑوں کا حفیاء سے ثنیۃ الوداع تک دوڑ کا مقابلہ کروایا اور غیر تضمیر شدہ کا، ثنیہ سے مسجد زریق تک مقابلہ کروایا، ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہما نے بھی اس دوڑ میں حصہ لیا تھا۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar (Razi Allahu Anhum) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne tazmeer shuda ghodon ka Hafiya se Saniyat ul Wida tak daud ka muqabala karwaya aur ghair tazmeer shuda ka, Saniyah se Masjid Zuriq tak muqabala karwaya, Ibn Umar (Razi Allahu Anhum) ne bhi is daud mein hissa liya tha.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، . أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَابَقَ بِالْخَيْلِ الَّتِي قَدْ أُضْمِرَتْ مِنَ الْحَفْيَاءِ وَكَانَ أَمَدُهَا ثَنِيَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ وَسَابَقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ الَّتِي لَمْ تُضْمَرْ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ فِيمَنْ سَابَقَ بِهَا .
