Abu Dharr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported: The Apostle of 'Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said: When any one of you stands for prayer and there is a thing before him equal to the back of the saddle that covers him and in case there is not before him (a thing) equal to the back of the saddle, his prayer would be cut off by (passing of an) ass, woman, and black Dog. I said: O Abu Dharr (رضي الله تعالى عنه), what feature is there in a black dog which distinguish it from the red dog and the yellow dog? He said: O, son of my brother, I asked the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) as you are asking me, and he said: The black dog is a devil.
حضرت ابو ذر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی نماز کے لیے کھڑا ہو تو اس کے لیے سترہ (آڑ) بنے گا، جب اس کے سامنے پالان کی پچھلی لکڑی کے برابر کوئی چیز ہو، اگر اس کے سامنے پالان کی پچھلی لکڑی کے برابر کوئی چیز نہ ہو تو گدھا، عورت اور سیاہ کتا، اس کی نماز (کے خشوع) کو منقطع کر دیتا ہے۔ میں نے پوچھا: اے ابو ذر! سیاہ کتے کی تخصیص کیوں، اگر کتا لال یا ذرد ہو پھر؟ انہوں نے کہا، اے میرے بھتیجے! میں نے بھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے یہی سوال کیا تھا جو تو نے مجھ سے کیا ہے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”سیاہ کتا شریر (شیطان) ہوتا ہے۔“
Hazrat Abu Dharr (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ‘Jab tum mein se koi namaz ke liye khara ho to us ke liye sutrah (aar) bane ga, jab us ke saamne palan ki pichli lakri ke barabar koi cheez ho, agar us ke saamne palan ki pichli lakri ke barabar koi cheez na ho to gadha, aurat aur siyah kutta, us ki namaz (ke khushu) ko munqata kar deta hai. Main ne pucha: Aye Abu Dharr! siyah kutte ki takhsees kyun, agar kutta laal ya zard ho phir? unhon ne kaha, aye mere bhatije! main ne bhi Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) se yahi sawal kiya tha jo tu ne mujh se kiya hai to Aap (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ‘Siyah kutta shareer (shaitan) hota hai.’
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ يُصَلِّي فَإِنَّهُ يَسْتُرُهُ إِذَا كَانَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِثْلُ آخِرَةِ الرَّحْلِ فَإِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِثْلُ آخِرَةِ الرَّحْلِ فَإِنَّهُ يَقْطَعُ صَلاَتَهُ الْحِمَارُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الأَسْوَدُ " . قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ مَا بَالُ الْكَلْبِ الأَسْوَدِ مِنَ الْكَلْبِ الأَحْمَرِ مِنَ الْكَلْبِ الأَصْفَرِ قَالَ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَمَا سَأَلْتَنِي فَقَالَ " الْكَلْبُ الأَسْوَدُ شَيْطَانٌ " .
