باب الْكَشْفِ عَنْ مَعَايِبِ، رُوَاةِ الْحَدِيثِ وَنَقَلَةِ الأَخْبَارِ وَقَوْلِ الأَئِمَّةِ فِي ذَلِكَ
Sahih Muslim Introduction 37
Hajjāj bin ush-Shā’ir narrated to me, Shabābah narrated to us, he said, Shu’bah said:‘I had met Shahr then abandoned transmitting from him’.
امام شعبہؒ کہتے ہیں: ”میں نے شہر سے ملاقات کی، تو میں نے اسے قابلِ اعتماد نہیں سمجھا۔“
Imam Shu'ba (Rahmatullahi Alaih) kehte hain: "Main ne Shahr se mulaqat ki, to main ne ise qabil-e-itibar nahi samjha."
وَحَدَّثَنِي حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، قَالَ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَقَدْ لَقِيتُ شَهْرًا فَلَمْ أَعْتَدَّ بِهِ .
