باب الْكَشْفِ عَنْ مَعَايِبِ، رُوَاةِ الْحَدِيثِ وَنَقَلَةِ الأَخْبَارِ وَقَوْلِ الأَئِمَّةِ فِي ذَلِكَ
Sahih Muslim Introduction 62
Muhammad bin Rāfi’ and Hajjāj bin ash-Shā’ir narrated to me, they said Abd ur-Razzāq narrated to us, he said Ma’mar said:‘I did not see Ayyūb speaking ill of anyone, ever, except for Abd al-Karīm- meaning Abū Umayyah’. So he mentioned him and said, may Allah have mercy on him ‘He is not trustworthy- he had asked me about a Ḥadīth of Ikrimah then said ‘I heard from Ikrimah’ [when relating the Ḥadīth].’
معمرؒ کہتے ہیں: ”میں نے ایوبؒ کو کسی کی غیبت کرتے نہیں دیکھا سوائے عبدالکریم، یعنی: ابو امیّہ کے، کیونکہ ایوبؒ نے اس کا تذکرہ کرنے کے بعد کہا: ”اللہ اس پر رحم فرمائے! وہ ثقہ نہیں تھا، اس نے مجھ سے عکرمہؒ کی ایک حدیث دریافت کی، پھر کہنے لگا: میں نے عکرمہؒ سے سنا ہے۔“
Ma'mar (Rahmatullahi Alaih) kehte hain: "Main ne Ayyub (Rahmatullahi Alaih) ko kisi ki gheebat karte nahi dekha siwaye Abdul Kareem, yaani: Abu Umayyah ke, kyunke Ayyub (Rahmatullahi Alaih) ne is ka tazkira karne ke baad kaha: "Allah is par raham farmaye! Woh thiqa nahi tha, is ne mujh se Akrama (Rahmatullahi Alaih) ki ek hadith daryaft ki, phir kehne laga: Main ne Akrama (Rahmatullahi Alaih) se suna hai."
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، وَحَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ مَا رَأَيْتُ أَيُّوبَ اغْتَابَ أَحَدًا قَطُّ إِلاَّ عَبْدَ الْكَرِيمِ - يَعْنِي أَبَا أُمَيَّةَ - فَإِنَّهُ ذَكَرَهُ فَقَالَ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ كَانَ غَيْرَ ثِقَةٍ لَقَدْ سَأَلَنِي عَنْ حَدِيثٍ لِعِكْرِمَةَ ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عِكْرِمَةَ .
