باب الْكَشْفِ عَنْ مَعَايِبِ، رُوَاةِ الْحَدِيثِ وَنَقَلَةِ الأَخْبَارِ وَقَوْلِ الأَئِمَّةِ فِي ذَلِكَ
Sahih Muslim Introduction 80
Abd Allah bin Abd ar-Rahman ad-Dārimī narrated to us, Zakariyyā’ bin Adī informed us, he said, Abū Ishāq al-Fazarī said to me:‘Write from Baqiyyah what he transmits on authority of those who are well-known, and do not write from him what he transmits on authority of those who are not; do not write from Ismā’īl bin Ayyāsh what he transmits on authority of those who are well-known or otherwise ’.
زکریا ابنِ عدی کہتے ہیں مجھ سے ابو اسحاق فزاری نے کہا، بقیہ سے صرف وہ احادیث لکھوجو وہ معروف اور مشہور راویوں سے بیان کرتا ہے اور جو روایات وہ غیر معروف راویوں سے بیان کرتا ہے وہ نہ لکھو، اور اسماعیل بن عیاش سے کسی قسم کی روایت نہ لکھو چاہے وہ معروف راویوں سے بیان کرتا ہو یا غیر معروف سے۔
Zakariya ibn-e-Adi kehte hain mujh se Abu Ishaq Fazari ne kaha, Baqiyyah se sirf woh ahadith likho jo woh maroof aur mashhoor rawiyon se bayan karta hai aur jo riwayat woh ghair maroof rawiyon se bayan karta hai woh na likho, aur Ismail bin Ayash se kisi qism ki riwayat na likho chahe woh maroof rawiyon se bayan karta ho ya ghair maroof se.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ لِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْفَزَارِيُّ اكْتُبْ عَنْ بَقِيَّةَ، مَا رَوَى عَنِ الْمَعْرُوفِينَ، وَلاَ تَكْتُبْ عَنْهُ مَا رَوَى عَنْ غَيْرِ الْمَعْرُوفِينَ، وَلاَ تَكْتُبْ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، مَا رَوَى عَنِ الْمَعْرُوفِينَ، وَلاَ عَنْ غَيْرِهِمْ، .
