Chapter: The strict prohibition of intercourse during the day in Ramadan for one who is fasting; And the obligation of offering major expiation and the definition thereof; And that it is obligatory for both the one who can afford it and the one who cannot

باب تَغْلِيظِ تَحْرِيمِ الْجِمَاعِ فِي نَهَارِ رَمَضَانَ عَلَى الصَّائِمِ وَوُجُوبِ الْكَفَّارَةِ الْكُبْرَى فِيهِ وبيانها وأنها تجب على الموسر والمعسر وتثبت في ذمة المعسر حتى يستطيع
Sahih Muslim 1111b
A Hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Muhammad bin Muslim az-Zuhri with the same chain of transmitters, and he said, an 'araq containing dates was brought to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). An araq is a huge basket. But in this Hadith no mention has been made of (the fact) that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) laughed till his molar teeth became visible.’
امام صاحب ایک دوسرے استاد سے زہری کی سند سے ابن عیینہ کی طرح روایت بیان کرتے ہیں۔ ایک عرق جس میں کھجوریں تھیں اور عرق زنبیل (ٹوکری) کو کہتے ہیں۔ اور اس میں یہ نہیں ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس طرح ہنس پڑے کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی کچلیاں نمایاں ہو گئیں۔
Imam Sahab ek doosrey ustad se Zuhri ki sanad se Ibn Uyainah ki tarah riwayat bayan karte hain. Ek araq jis mein khajoorain thin aur araq zambil (tokri) ko kehte hain. Aur is mein yeh nahi hai ke Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) is tarah hans padey ke aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ki kachliyan numayan ho gain.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الزُّهْرِيِّ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ . مِثْلَ رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ وَقَالَ بِعَرَقٍ فِيهِ تَمْرٌ - وَهُوَ الزِّنْبِيلُ - وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فَضَحِكَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى بَدَتْ أَنْيَابُهُ .
