Chapter: It is Permissible to delay making up missed Ramadan Fasts until before the next Ramadan comes, and this is for those who broke the fast for a reason such as sickness, travel, menstruation and the like

باب قَضَاءِ رَمَضَانَ فِي شَعْبَانَ
Sahih Muslim 1146c
In another version of the previous Hadith, the words are, ‘Yahya said, ‘I think it was due to the regard for the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).’
مصنف ایک اور استاد سے یہی روایت بیان کرتے ہیں اس میں یہ ہے کہ یحییٰ بن سعید کہتے ہیں میرا خیال ہے کہ یہ ان کے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضری کی بنا پر ہوتا تھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خاطر وہ روزہ نہیں رکھ سکتی تھیں۔
Musannif ek aur ustad se yahi riwayat bayan karte hain is mein yeh hai ke Yahya bin Sa'eed kehte hain mera khayal hai ke yeh unke Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ki khidmat mein haziri ki bana par hota tha. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ki khatir woh roza nahi rakh sakti thin.
وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، بْنُ سَعِيدٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَقَالَ فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ لِمَكَانِهَا مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . يَحْيَى يَقُولُهُ .
