Chapter: It is Permissible to delay making up missed Ramadan Fasts until before the next Ramadan comes, and this is for those who broke the fast for a reason such as sickness, travel, menstruation and the like

باب قَضَاءِ رَمَضَانَ فِي شَعْبَانَ
Sahih Muslim 1146b
This Hadith is narrated on the authority of Yahya bin Sa'id with the same chain of transmitters but with this variation that he said that Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) did not observe fast but in Sha'ban, out of regard for the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).
مصنف ایک اور استاد سے یحییٰ بن سعید ہی کی سند سے بیان کرتے ہیں اس میں ہے یہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی موجودگی کی بنا پر ہوتا تھا۔
Musannif ek aur ustad se Yahya bin Sa'eed hi ki sanad se bayan karte hain is mein hai yeh Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ki maujoodgi ki bana par hota tha.
وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ، بْنُ بِلاَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَذَلِكَ لِمَكَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
