Sahih Muslim 1192c
Muhammad bin al-Muntashir reported on the authority of his father that he asked Abdullah bin 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) about a person who applied perfume and then (on the following) morning entered upon the state of lhram. He heard from Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) saying this, ‘it is dearer to me to rub tar (on my body) than to enter upon the state of Ihram (in a state) of shaking off the perfume.’ He (the narrator) said, I went to Ummul Momineen A'isha ( رضي الله تعالى عنها) and told her about this statement of of Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه). Thereupon she said, I applied perfume to the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and he then went round his wives and then entered upon the state of Ihram in the morning.
ابراہیم بن محمد بن منتشر اپنے باپ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہما کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا، میں تارکول مل لوں مجھے اس سے زیادہ پسند ہے کہ میں احرام باندھوں اور مجھ سے خوشبو پھوٹ رہی ہو تو میں حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہا کے پاس گیا اور انہیں ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہما کے قول سے آگاہ کیا، اس پر انہوں نے جواب دیا، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو خوشبو لگائی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ازواج مطہرات کے پاس گئے، پھر صبح احرام باندھ لیا۔
Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Muntashir apne baap se bayan karte hain ke maine Hazrat Ibn Umar (Radiallahu Anhuma) ko yeh kehte hue suna, "Main tarkol mal loon mujhe usse zyada pasand hai ke main ehram bandhoon aur mujhse khushboo phoot rahi ho." To main Hazrat Ayesha (Radiallahu Anha) ke paas gaya aur unhein Ibn Umar (Radiallahu Anhuma) ke qaul se aagah kiya, is par unhone jawab diya, "Maine Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko khushboo lagai, phir Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) azwaj-e-mutahharat ke paas gaye, phir subah ehram bandh liya."
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، وَسُفْيَانَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ، الْمُنْتَشِرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، - رضى الله عنهما - يَقُولُ لأَنْ أُصْبِحَ مُطَّلِيًا بِقَطِرَانٍ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُصْبِحَ مُحْرِمًا أَنْضَخُ طِيبًا - قَالَ - فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ - رضى الله عنها - فَأَخْبَرْتُهَا بِقَوْلِهِ فَقَالَتْ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَطَافَ فِي نِسَائِهِ ثُمَّ أَصْبَحَ مُحْرِمًا .
