Chapter: Clarifying the types of Ihram; and that it is permissible to perfom Hajj that is Ifrad, Tamattu and Qiran. It is permissible to join Hajj to Umrah. And when the pilgrim who is performing Qiran should exit Ihram

باب بَيَانِ وُجُوهِ الإِحْرَامِ وَأَنَّهُ يَجُوزُ إِفْرَادُ الْحَجِّ وَالتَّمَتُّعِ وَالْقِرَانِ وَجَوَازِ إِدْخَالِ الْحَجِّ عَلَى الْعُمْرَةِ وَمَتَى يَحِلُّ الْقَارِنُ مِنْ نُسُكِهِ
Sahih Muslim 1211c
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that they went with the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) during the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage. I put on Ihram for Umra and did not bring the sacrificial animal. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, he who has the sacrificial animal with him should enter into the state of Ihram for Hajj along with 'Umra and he should not put the Ihram off till he has completed both of them. She said the monthly period began for her. When it was the night of Arafa, I said to the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), I entered into the state of Ihram for 'Umra. but now how should I perform the Hajj? Thereupon he said, undo your hair and comb them, and desist from performing Umra, and put on Ihram for Hajj. She said, when I had completed my Hajj, he commanded Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) to carry me behind him (on bone back) in order to enable me to resume the rituals of Umra from Tan'im, the place where I abandoned its rituals.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ ہم حجۃ الوداع کے سال نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نکلے، میں نے عمرہ کا احرام باندھا اور میں نے اپنے ساتھ ہدی نہیں لی تھی، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس کے ساتھ ہدی ہے، وہ اپنے عمرے کے ساتھ حج کا احرام باندھ لے، پھر وہ اس وقت تک حلال نہ ہو جب تک دونوں سے حلال نہ ہو جائے۔“ تو مجھے حیض شروع ہو گیا تو جب عرفہ کی رات آئی، میں نے کہا، اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! میں نے تو عمرہ کا احرام باندھا تھا تو میں اپنے حج کے بارے میں کیا کروں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اپنے سر کھول دے، کنگھی کر لے اور عمرہ کے افعال سے رک جا اور تلبیہ کہہ۔“ تو جب میں اپنے حج سے فارغ ہو گئی، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی بکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما کو حکم دیا، اس نے مجھے اپنے پیچھے سوار کر کے میرے اس عمرہ کی جگہ، جس کے ادا کرنے سے میں رک گئی تھی، مجھے تنعیم سے عمرہ کروایا۔
Hazrat Ayesha (Radiallahu Anha) bayan karti hain ke hum Hajjatul Wida' ke saal Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke saath nikle, maine umre ka ehram bandha aur maine apne saath hadi nahin li thi, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Jiske saath hadi hai, woh apne umre ke saath Hajj ka ehram bandh le, phir woh us waqt tak halal na ho jab tak donon se halal na ho jaye." To mujhe haiz shuru ho gaya to jab Arafa ki raat aai, maine kaha, "Aye Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Maine to umre ka ehram bandha tha to main apne Hajj ke bare mein kya karoon?" Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Apne sir khol de, kanghi kar le aur umre ke af'al se ruk ja aur talbiyah keh." To jab main apne Hajj se farigh ho gai, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr (Radiallahu Anhuma) ko hukm diya, usne mujhe apne piche sawar kar ke mere is umre ki jagah, jiske ada karne se main ruk gai thi, mujhe Tan'eem se umrah karwaya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، - رضى الله عنها - قَالَتْ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَامَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَأَهْلَلْتُ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَلَمْ أَكُنْ سُقْتُ الْهَدْىَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ هَدْىٌ فَلْيُهْلِلْ بِالْحَجِّ مَعَ عُمْرَتِهِ ثُمَّ لاَ يَحِلَّ حَتَّى يَحِلَّ مِنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا " . قَالَتْ فَحِضْتُ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَتْ لَيْلَةُ عَرَفَةَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي كُنْتُ أَهْلَلْتُ بِعُمْرَةٍ فَكَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ بِحَجَّتِي قَالَ " انْقُضِي رَأْسَكِ وَامْتَشِطِي وَأَمْسِكِي عَنِ الْعُمْرَةِ وَأَهِلِّي بِالْحَجِّ " . قَالَتْ فَلَمَّا قَضَيْتُ حَجَّتِي أَمَرَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَأَرْدَفَنِي فَأَعْمَرَنِي مِنَ التَّنْعِيمِ مَكَانَ عُمْرَتِي الَّتِي أَمْسَكْتُ عَنْهَا .
