Chapter: It is recommended to stay overnight in Dhu Tuwa when intending to enter Makkah, and to perform Ghusl before entering it, and to enter it by day

باب اسْتِحْبَابِ الْمَبِيتِ بِذِي طَوًى عِنْدَ إِرَادَةِ دُخُولِ مَكَّةَ وَالاِغْتِسَالِ لِدُخُولِهَا نَهَارًا
Sahih Muslim 1259c
Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that whenever Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) entered Makka, he got down at Dhi Tuwa and spend the night there until he observed the dawn prayer. And Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) observed this prayer on a rough hillock, and not in the mosque which had been then built there, but to the lower side of the mosque on the hillock.
حضرت عبداللہ (بن عمررضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) بیان کرتے ہیں کہ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مکہ تشریف لاتے، تو پڑاؤ ذی طویٰ پر کرتے، وہیں رات بسر کرتے حتی کہ صبح کی نماز پڑھتے، اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نماز گاہ ایک بڑے ٹیلے پر ہے، اس مسجد میں نہیں، جو وہاں بنا دی گئی ہے، لیکن اس کے نیچے ایک بڑے ٹیلے پر۔
Hazrat Abdullah (bin Umar Radiallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ki jab Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Makkah tashreef late, to padav Zi Tuwa par karte, wohin raat basar karte hatta ki subah ki namaz padhte, aur Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki namaz-gah ek bade teele par hai, us Masjid mein nahi, jo wahan bana di gai hai, lekin us ke niche ek bade teele par.
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عِيَاضٍ - عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَنْزِلُ بِذِي طَوًى وَيَبِيتُ بِهِ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ الصُّبْحَ حِينَ يَقْدَمُ مَكَّةَ وَمُصَلَّى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَكَمَةٍ غَلِيظَةٍ لَيْسَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي بُنِيَ ثَمَّ وَلَكِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَكَمَةٍ غَلِيظَةٍ .
