Chapter: The Sunnah on the day of sacrifice is to stone the Jamrah, then offer the sacrifice, then shave the head, and shaving should be started on the right side of the head

باب بَيَانِ أَنَّ السُّنَّةَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ أَنْ يَرْمِيَ ثُمَّ يَنْحَرَ ثُمَّ يَحْلِقَ وَالاِبْتِدَاءِ فِي الْحَلْقِ بِالْجَانِبِ الأَيْمَنِ مِنْ رَأْسِ الْمَحْلُوقِ
Sahih Muslim 1305b
Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) called for the barber and, pointing towards the right side of his head, said: (start from) here, and then distributed his hair among those who were near him. He then pointed to the barber (to shave) the left side and he shaved it, and he gave (these hair) to Umm Sulaim (رضي الله تعالى عنها). And in the narration of Abu Kuraib (the words are), he started from the right half (of his head), and he distributed a hair or two among the people. and then (asked the barber) to shave the left side and he did similarly, and he said, here is Abu Talha (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and he gave these (hair) to Abu Talha ( رضي الله تعالى عنه)
امام صاحب یہی روایت اپنے تین اساتذہ سے بیان کرتے ہیں، ابوبکر کی روایت میں ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حجام سے فرمایا: ”لو“ اور اس طرح اپنے ہاتھ سے دائیں طرف اشارہ کیا، اور اس طرف کے بال اپنے قریب موجود لوگوں میں تقسیم کر دئیے، پھر حجام کو بائیں طرف اشارہ کیا، اس نے اس طرف کو مونڈا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ بال ام سلیم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو عطا فرمائے، ابو کریب کی روایت میں ہے، اس نے دائیں طرف سے شروع کیا، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان بالوں کو ایک ایک، دو، دو کر کے لوگوں میں بانٹ دیا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بائیں طرف اشارہ کیا، اس نے اس کو بھی اسی طرح مونڈ دیا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا، ”ادھر ابو طلحہ ہے؟“ اور یہ بال ابو طلحہ کو دے دئیے۔
Imam Sahib yehi riwayat apne teen asatiza se bayan karte hain, Abu Bakr ki riwayat mein hai, Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Hajjam se farmaya: "Lo" aur is tarah apne haath se dayein taraf ishara kiya, aur is taraf ke baal apne qareeb maujood logon mein taqseem kar diye, phir Hajjam ko bayein taraf ishara kiya, us ne is taraf ko munda, to Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ye baal Umm Sulaim (Radiallahu Anha) ko ata farmaye, Abu Kuraib ki riwayat mein hai, us ne dayein taraf se shuru kiya, aur Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne un balon ko ek ek, do, do kar ke logon mein baant diya, phir Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne bayein taraf ishara kiya, us ne us ko bhi isi tarah mund diya, phir Aap (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne poocha, "Idhar Abu Talha hai?" Aur ye baal Abu Talha ko de diye.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَابْنُ، نُمَيْرٍ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالُوا أَخْبَرَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ، غِيَاثٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ أَمَّا أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ لِلْحَلاَّقِ " هَا " . وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى الْجَانِبِ الأَيْمَنِ هَكَذَا فَقَسَمَ شَعَرَهُ بَيْنَ مَنْ يَلِيهِ - قَالَ - ثُمَّ أَشَارَ إِلَى الْحَلاَّقِ وَإِلَى الْجَانِبِ الأَيْسَرِ فَحَلَقَهُ فَأَعْطَاهُ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ . وَأَمَّا فِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ فَبَدَأَ بِالشِّقِّ الأَيْمَنِ فَوَزَّعَهُ الشَّعَرَةَ وَالشَّعَرَتَيْنِ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ ثُمَّ قَالَ بِالأَيْسَرِ فَصَنَعَ بِهِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ " هَا هُنَا أَبُو طَلْحَةَ " . فَدَفَعَهُ إِلَى أَبِي طَلْحَةَ .
