Sahih Muslim 1394a
Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Allah's Apostle' (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, a prayer in my mosque is a thousand times more excellent than a prayer in any other mosque, except Masjid al-Haram (Mosque of the Ka'ba).
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میری اس مسجد میں نماز پڑھنا، مسجد حرام کے سوا مساجد میں، ایک ہزار نماز پڑھنے سے افضل ہے۔“
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu) Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se bayan karte hain ki aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: “Meri is masjid mein namaz padhna, Masjid-e-Haram ke siwa masaajid mein, ek hazaar namaz padhne se afzal hai.”
حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لِعَمْرٍو - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " صَلاَةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلاَةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ إِلاَّ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ" .
