Sahih Muslim 142e
Hasan narrated that Ubaidullah bin Ziyad visited Ma'qil bin Yasir al-Muzani (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) in his last illness. Ma'qil said (to him), I am narrating to you a tradition I heard from the Apostle of Allah (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم). If I knew that I am to survive this illness. I would, not narrate it to you. I heard the Apostle of Allah (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم) say, if Allah appointed anyone ruler over a people and he died while he was still treacherous to his people, Allah would forbid his entry into Paradise.
حضرت حسن بصری بیان کرتے ہیں کہ حضرت معقل بن یسار مزنی رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کے مرض الموت میں، عبیداللہ بن زیاد ان کی بیمار پرسی کے لیے گیا، تو وہ فرمانے لگے، میں تمہیں ایک حدیث سنانے لگا ہوں، جو میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنی ہے، اگر مجھے یقین ہوتا کہ میں زندہ رہوں گا، تو میں تمہیں نہ سناتا، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ”جس بندے کو بھی اللہ تعالیٰ کسی رعایا کا نگران اور محافظ بناتا ہے اور وہ جس دن مرتا ہے، اس حال میں مرتا ہے کہ وہ اپنے رعایا کے ساتھ دھوکے باز اور خائن ہوتا ہے، تو اللہ اس کے لیے جنت حرام ٹھہراتا ہے۔“
Hazrat Hassan Basri bayan karte hain ke Hazrat Ma'qil bin Yassar Muzani (Razi Allahu Anhu) ke marz ul maut mein, Ubaidullah bin Ziyad unki bimar pursi ke liye gaya, to woh farmane lage, main tumhe ek hadith sunane laga hoon, jo maine Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se suni hai, agar mujhe yaqeen hota ke main zinda rahoonga, to main tumhe na sunata, maine Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko farmate hue suna: "Jis bande ko bhi Allah Ta'ala kisi ra'aya ka nigehbaan aur muhafiz banata hai aur woh jis din marta hai, is haal mein marta hai ke woh apne ra'aya ke saath dhoke baaz aur kha'in hota hai, to Allah uske liye Jannat haram thehrata hai."
وَحَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَشْهَبِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ عَادَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ مَعْقِلَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ الْمُزَنِيَّ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ فَقَالَ مَعْقِلٌ إِنِّي مُحَدِّثُكَ حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَوْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ لِي حَيَاةً مَا حَدَّثْتُكَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَسْتَرْعِيهِ اللَّهُ رَعِيَّةً يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَهُوَ غَاشٌّ لِرَعِيَّتِهِ إِلاَّ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ " .
