Chapter: It is permissible for a wife to give her turn to a co-wife

باب جَوَازِ هِبَتِهَا نَوْبَتَهَا لِضَرَّتِهَا
Sahih Muslim 1463b
A Hadith like this has been transmitted on the authority of Hisham with the same chain of narrators (and the words are), when Ummul Momineen Sauda ( رضي الله تعالى عنها) became old, the rest of the hadith is the same, and in the narration of Sharik there is an addition of these words, she was the first woman whom Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) married after me.’
امام صاحب اپنے تین اساتذہ کی سند سے ہشام ہی کے واسطہ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ جب حضرت سودہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بوڑھی ہو گئیں، آ گے مذکورہ بالا روایت ہے اور شریک کی روایت میں یہ اضافہ ہے وہ پہلی عورت تھیں جس سے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میرے بعد شادی کی۔
Imam Sahab apne teen asatizah ki sanad se Hisham hi ke wasta se bayan karte hain ke jab Hazrat Saudah (Razi Allahu Anha) boodhi ho gayin, aage mazkura bala riwayat hai aur Shareek ki riwayat mein yeh izafa hai woh pehli aurat thin jis se aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne mere baad shadi ki.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ هِشَامٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ أَنَّ سَوْدَةَ، لَمَّا كَبِرَتْ . بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ وَزَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ شَرِيكٍ قَالَتْ وَكَانَتْ أَوَّلَ امْرَأَةٍ تَزَوَّجَهَا بَعْدِي .
