Chapter: Musaqah And Mu'amalah in return for a share of the fruit and crops

باب الْمُسَاقَاةِ وَالْمُعَامَلَةِ بِجُزْءٍ مِنَ الثَّمَرِ وَالزَّرْعِ
Sahih Muslim 1551c
Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) contracted with the people of Khaibar (land and trees on the condition that they should give) half of the yield from land and trees. The rest of the Hadith is the same. In the Hadith transmitted on the authority of AIi bin Mushir (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) there is no mention of it, but that Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) and Ummul Momineen Hafsa (رضي الله تعالى عنها) were those who opted for land and water, but he (the narrator) said, Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) gave option to the wives of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) that land would be earmarked for them, but he made no mention of water.
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اہل خیبر سے وہاں کی کھیتی اور پھلوں کے نصف حصہ پر معاملہ کیا، آگے مذکورہ بالا حدیث بیان کی، لیکن حضرت عائشہ اور حفصہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنھن کے زمین اور پانی کو پسند کرنے کا ذکر نہیں کیا، اور یہ کہا کہ ازواج مطہرات کو زمین لینے کا اختیار دیا، پانی کا تذکرہ نہیں کیا۔
Hazrat Abdullah Bin Umar (Razi Allahu Ta'ala Anhuma) se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne Ahle Khaibar se wahan ki khetee aur phalon ke nisf hisse par muamla kiya, aage mazkoora bala hadees bayan ki, lekin Hazrat Aisha aur Hafsa (Razi Allahu Ta'ala Anhunna) ke zameen aur pani ko pasand karne ka zikr nahi kiya, aur yeh kaha ki Azwaj e Mutahharat ko zameen lene ka ikhtiyar diya, pani ka tazkira nahi kiya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَامَلَ أَهْلَ خَيْبَرَ بِشَطْرِ مَا خَرَجَ مِنْهَا مِنْ زَرْعٍ أَوْ ثَمَرٍ . وَاقْتَصَّ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُسْهِرٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فَكَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ وَحَفْصَةُ مِمَّنِ اخْتَارَتَا الأَرْضَ وَالْمَاءَ وَقَالَ خَيَّرَ أَزْوَاجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يُقْطِعَ لَهُنَّ الأَرْضَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْمَاءَ .
