Sahih Muslim 1765
Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘we were (sitting) in the mosque when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came to us and said, (let us) go to the Jews. We went out with him until we came to them. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stood up and called out to them (saying), O you, the assembly of Jews, accept Islam (and) you will be safe. They said, Abu'l Qasim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) , you have communicated (God's Message to us). The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, I want this (you should admit that God's Message has been communicated to you), accept Islam and you would be safe. They said, Abu'l-Qasim ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), you have communicated (Allah's Message). The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, I want this. He said to them (the same words) the third time (and on getting the same reply) he added, you should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), and I wish that I should expel you from this land. Those of you who have any property with them should sell it, otherwise they should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ہم مسجد میں تھے کہ اس دوران رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے اور فرمایا: ”یہودیوں کی طرف چلو۔“ تو ہم آپ کے ساتھ چل پڑے حتی کہ ان کے پاس پہنچ گئے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہو کر ان سے بلند آواز سے فرمایا: ”اے یہودیوں کی جماعت! اسلام لے آؤ! سلامت رہو گے۔“ انہوں نے جواب دیا، اے ابو القاسم! آپ نے پیغام پہنچا دیا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں فرمایا: ”یہی میں چاہتا ہوں، اسلام لے آؤ، محفوظ ہو جاؤ گے۔“ تو انہوں نے جواب دیا، اے ابو القاسم! آپ نے پیغام پہنچا دیا ہے، اس پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”یہی میرا مقصد ہے۔“ تیسری مرتبہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جان لو، یہ زمین تو صرف اللہ اور اس کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ہے اور میں تم کو اس سرزمین سے نکالنا چاہتا ہوں تو جسے اپنے مال کے عوض کچھ ملتا ہو، وہ اسے بیچ دے، وگرنہ جان لو، یہ زمین تو اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی ہے۔“
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) bayan karte hain ke hum masjid mein thay ke is dauran Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) hamare paas tashreef laye aur farmaya: “Yahudiyon ki taraf chalo.” toh hum aap ke saath chal paray hatta ke un ke paas puhanch gaye, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) kharay ho kar un se buland awaz se farmaya: “Ae Yahudiyon ki jama'at! Islam le ao! salamat raho ge.” Unhon ne jawab diya, ae Abu al-Qasim! aap ne paigham puhancha diya toh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne unhein farmaya: “Yahi mein chahta hoon, Islam le ao, mahfooz ho jao ge.” toh unhon ne jawab diya, ae Abu al-Qasim! aap ne paigham puhancha diya hai, is par Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: “Yahi mera maqsad hai.” Teesri martaba aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: “Jaan lo, yeh zameen toh sirf Allah aur us ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki hai aur mein tum ko is sarzameen se nikalna chahta hoon toh jise apne maal ke iwaz kuch milta ho, woh ise bech de, wagarna jaan lo, yeh zameen toh Allah aur us ke Rasool ki hai.”
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي، هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ بَيْنَا نَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ إِذْ خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " انْطَلِقُوا إِلَى يَهُودَ " . فَخَرَجْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى جِئْنَاهُمْ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَنَادَاهُمْ فَقَالَ " يَا مَعْشَرَ يَهُودَ أَسْلِمُوا تَسْلَمُوا " . فَقَالُوا قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ . فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " ذَلِكَ أُرِيدُ أَسْلِمُوا تَسْلَمُوا " . فَقَالُوا قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ . فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " ذَلِكَ أُرِيدُ " . فَقَالَ لَهُمُ الثَّالِثَةَ فَقَالَ " اعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا الأَرْضُ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَأَنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُجْلِيَكُمْ مِنْ هَذِهِ الأَرْضِ فَمَنْ وَجَدَ مِنْكُمْ بِمَالِهِ شَيْئًا فَلْيَبِعْهُ وَإِلاَّ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ " .
