. Ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that ‘while the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was praying near the Ka'ba, Abu Jahl with his companions was sitting (near by), Abu Jahl said, referring to the she-camel that had been slaughtered the previous day, who will rise to fetch the fetus of the she-camel of so and so, and place it between the shoulders of Muhammad (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) when he goes down in prostration. The one most accursed among the people got up, brought the fetus and, when the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) went down in prostration, placed it between his shoulders. Then they laughed at him and some of them leaned upon the others with laughter. And I stood looking. If I had the power, I would have thrown it away from the back of the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) had bent down his head in prostration and did not raise it, until a man went (to his house) and informed (his daughter) Sayyida Fatima (رضي الله تعالى عنها), who was a young girl (at that time) (about this ugly incident). She came and removed (the filthy thing) from him. Then she turned towards them rebuking them. When the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) had finished his prayer, he invoked Allah’s curse upon them in a loud voice. When he prayed, he prayed thrice, and when he asked for Allah’s blessings, he asked thrice. Then he said thrice, O Allah, it is for You to deal with the Quraish. When they heard his voice, laughter vanished from them and they feared his curse. Then he said, O Allah, it is for You to deal with Abu Jahl bin Hisham, 'Utba bin Rabi'a, Shaiba bin Rabi'a. Walid bin Uqba, Umayya bin Khalaf, Uqba bin Abu Mu'ait (and he mentioned the name of the seventh person which I did not remember). By the One Who sent Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) with truth, I saw (all) those he had named lying slain on the Day of Badr. Their dead bodies were dragged to be thrown into a pit near the battlefield. Abu Ishaq had said that the name of Walid bin 'Uqba has been wrongly mentioned in this tradition.
حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بیت اللہ کے پاس نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، ابوجہل اور اس کے ساتھی بیٹھے ہوئے تھے اور گزشتہ کل ایک اونٹنی ذبح کی گئی تھی تو ابوجہل نے کہا تم میں سے کون، بنو فلاں کی اونٹنی کی بچہ دانی اٹھا لائے گا اور جب محمد سجدہ کرے گا تو اس کے کندھوں کے درمیان رکھ دے گا؟ تو سب سے بدبخت شخص اٹھا اور اسے اٹھا لایا، پھر جب نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سجدہ میں گئے، اسے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے کندھوں کے درمیان رکھ دیا اور وہ ایک دوسرے کو ہنسانے لگے اور ہنسی سے لوٹ پوٹ ہو کر ایک دوسرے پر گرنے لگے، حضرت ابن مسعود بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں کھڑا ہوا یہ منظر دیکھ رہا تھا، اگر مجھے تحفظ اور پناہ حاصل ہوتی تو میں اسے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی پشت سے پھینک دیتا، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سجدہ میں پڑے ہوئے تھے، اپنا سر نہیں اٹھا رہے تھے حتی کہ ایک آدمی گیا اور اس نے حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کو اطلاع دی، وہ آئیں جبکہ وہ ایک نوخیز بچی تھیں اور انہوں نے آپ سے اسے پھینک دیا، پھر ان کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر انہیں برا بھلا کہنے لگیں تو جب نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو آپ نے بلند آواز سے ان کے خلاف دعا کی اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب دعا فرماتے تو تین دفعہ دعا فرماتے اور جب مانگتے تو تین دفعہ مانگتے، پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، ”اے اللہ! قریش کا مؤاخذہ فرما۔“ تین دفعہ فرمایا تو جب انہوں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی آواز سنی تو ان کی ہنسی بند ہو گئی اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی دعا سے خوف زدہ ہو گئے، پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اے اللہ! ابوجہل بن ہشام کو پکڑ، عتبہ بن ربیعہ، شیبہ بن ربیعہ، ولید بن عقبہ، امیہ بن خلف اور عقبہ بن ابی معیط کو پکڑ“ راوی کہتے ہیں، استاد نے ساتویں کا نام لیا، مجھے یاد نہیں رہا، اس ذات کی قسم، جس نے محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو حق دے کر بھیجا، میں نے ان لوگوں کو جن کے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نام لیے تھے، بدر کے دن گرے ہوئے دیکھا، پھر انہیں کھینچ کر، بدر کے کچے کنویں میں پھینک دیا گیا، ابو اسحاق کہتے ہیں، اس حدیث میں ولید بن عقبہ کا نام غلط ہے، (کیونکہ وہ ولید بن عتبہ تھا)
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (Razi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Baitullah ke paas namaz padh rahe the, Abu Jahl aur uske saathi baithe hue the aur guzishta kal ek oontni zibah ki gayi thi to Abu Jahl ne kaha tum mein se kaun, Banu Falan ki oontni ki bachcha daani utha layega aur jab Muhammad sajda karega to uske kandhon ke darmiyan rakh dega? To sabse badbakht shakhs utha aur use utha laya, phir jab Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) sajda mein gaye, use Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke kandhon ke darmiyan rakh diya aur woh ek doosre ko hansane lage aur hansi se lot pot ho kar ek doosre par girne lage, Hazrat Ibn Masood bayan karte hain ke main khada hua yeh manzar dekh raha tha, agar mujhe tahaffuz aur panah hasil hoti to main use Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki pusht se phenk deta, Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) sajda mein pade hue the, apna sar nahi utha rahe the hatta ke ek aadmi gaya aur usne Hazrat Fatimah (Razi Allahu Anha) ko ittila di, woh aayeen jabkeh woh ek nawkhez bachchi thien aur unhon ne Aap se use phenk diya, phir unki taraf mutawajjuh ho kar unhein bura bhala kehne lagien to jab Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) apni namaz se farigh hue to Aap ne buland awaaz se unke khilaf dua ki aur Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab dua farmate to teen dafa dua farmate aur jab mangte to teen dafa mangte, phir Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya, "Aye Allah! Quraish ka mu'akhiza farma." Teen dafa farmaya to jab unhon ne Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki awaaz suni to unki hansi band ho gayi aur Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki dua se khauf zada ho gaye, phir Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Aye Allah! Abu Jahl bin Hisham ko pakad, Utbah bin Rabiah, Shaibah bin Rabiah, Walid bin Utbah, Umayyah bin Khalaf aur Uqbah bin Abi Mu'ait ko pakad" rawi kehte hain, ustad ne saatwein ka naam liya, mujhe yaad nahi raha, us zaat ki qasam, jisne Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko haq de kar bheja, maine un logon ko jin ke Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne naam liye the, Badr ke din gire hue dekha, phir unhein kheencha kar, Badr ke kacche kuan mein phenk diya gaya, Abu Ishaq kehte hain, is hadith mein Walid bin Utbah ka naam ghalat hai, (kyunki woh Walid bin Utbah tha).
وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبَانَ الْجُعْفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ - عَنْ زَكَرِيَّاءَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الأَوْدِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ وَأَبُو جَهْلٍ وَأَصْحَابٌ لَهُ جُلُوسٌ وَقَدْ نُحِرَتْ جَزُورٌ بِالأَمْسِ فَقَالَ أَبُو جَهْلٍ أَيُّكُمْ يَقُومُ إِلَى سَلاَ جَزُورِ بَنِي فُلاَنٍ فَيَأْخُذُهُ فَيَضَعُهُ فِي كَتِفَىْ مُحَمَّدٍ إِذَا سَجَدَ فَانْبَعَثَ أَشْقَى الْقَوْمِ فَأَخَذَهُ فَلَمَّا سَجَدَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَضَعَهُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ قَالَ فَاسْتَضْحَكُوا وَجَعَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ يَمِيلُ عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَأَنَا قَائِمٌ أَنْظُرُ . لَوْ كَانَتْ لِي مَنَعَةٌ طَرَحْتُهُ عَنْ ظَهْرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَالنَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَاجِدٌ مَا يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ حَتَّى انْطَلَقَ إِنْسَانٌ فَأَخْبَرَ فَاطِمَةَ فَجَاءَتْ وَهِيَ جُوَيْرِيَةُ فَطَرَحَتْهُ عَنْهُ . ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ تَشْتِمُهُمْ فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلاَتَهُ رَفَعَ صَوْتَهُ ثُمَّ دَعَا عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَانَ إِذَا دَعَا دَعَا ثَلاَثًا . وَإِذَا سَأَلَ سَأَلَ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ عَلَيْكَ بِقُرَيْشٍ " . ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَلَمَّا سَمِعُوا صَوْتَهُ ذَهَبَ عَنْهُمُ الضِّحْكُ وَخَافُوا دَعْوَتَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ عَلَيْكَ بِأَبِي جَهْلِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ وَعُتْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ وَشَيْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ وَالْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ وَأُمَيَّةَ بْنِ خَلَفٍ وَعُقْبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ " . وَذَكَرَ السَّابِعَ وَلَمْ أَحْفَظْهُ فَوَالَّذِي بَعَثَ مُحَمَّدًا صلى الله عليه وسلم بِالْحَقِّ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ الَّذِينَ سَمَّى صَرْعَى يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ ثُمَّ سُحِبُوا إِلَى الْقَلِيبِ قَلِيبِ بَدْرٍ . قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ غَلَطٌ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .
