Chapter: The persecution suffered by the prophet (saws) at the hands of the idolaters and hypocrites

باب مَا لَقِيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ أَذَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ
Sahih Muslim 1794c
Abu Ishaq narrated a similar Hadith through a different chain of transmitters and added, the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) loved to repeat the supplication thrice. He was saying, O Allah, it is for You to deal with the Quraish (repeating these words thrice). And among the Quraish, he mentioned al-Walid bin 'Utba and Umayya bin Khalaf. (The narrator says there is no doubt about the names of these persons, but he has forgotten the name of the seventh man).
امام صاحب اپنے ایک اور استاد ابو اسحاق کی مذکورہ بالا سند سے مذکورہ بالا روایت بیان کرتے ہیں، اس میں یہ اضافہ ہے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تین دفعہ دعا کرنا پسند فرماتے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اے اللہ! قریش کی گرفت فرما، اے اللہ! قریش کا مؤاخذہ فرما، اے اللہ! تو قریش کو پکڑ۔“ تین دفعہ کہا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان میں ولید بن عتبہ، امیہ بن خلف کا ذکر کیا، راوی نے شک کا اظہار نہیں کیا۔ (کہ امیہ یا ابی) اور ابو اسحاق نے کہا میں ساتویں کا نام بھول گیا۔
Imam Sahab apne ek aur ustad Abu Ishaq ki mazkoora bala sanad se mazkoora bala riwayat bayan karte hain, is mein yeh izafa hai Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) teen dafa dua karna pasand farmate, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Aye Allah! Quraish ki girift farma, Aye Allah! Quraish ka mu'akhiza farma, Aye Allah! Tu Quraish ko pakad." Teen dafa kaha, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne un mein Walid bin Utbah, Umayyah bin Khalaf ka zikr kiya, rawi ne shak ka izhar nahi kiya. (Ke Umayyah ya Ubayy) aur Abu Ishaq ne kaha main saatwein ka naam bhool gaya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي، إِسْحَاقَ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ وَزَادَ وَكَانَ يَسْتَحِبُّ ثَلاَثًا يَقُولُ " اللَّهُمَّ عَلَيْكَ بِقُرَيْشٍ اللَّهُمَّ عَلَيْكَ بِقُرَيْشٍ اللَّهُمَّ عَلَيْكَ بِقُرَيْشٍ " . ثَلاَثًا وَذَكَرَ فِيهِمُ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ عُتْبَةَ وَأُمَيَّةَ بْنَ خَلَفٍ وَلَمْ يَشُكَّ . قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ وَنَسِيتُ السَّابِعَ .
