باب الْمُبَايَعَةِ بَعْدَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ عَلَى الإِسْلاَمِ وَالْجِهَادِ وَالْخَيْرِ وَبَيَانِ مَعْنَى: «لاَ هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَتْحِ»

Sahih Muslim 1863c

Another version of the tradition transmitted on the authority of Asim has the same wording but does not mention the name of Abu Ma'bad.

امام صاحب ایک اور استاد سے یہی روایت بیان کرتے ہیں، اس میں ہے، میں اس کے بھائی سے ملا، تو اس نے کہا، مجاشع نے سچ کہا، ابو معبد رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کا نام نہیں لیا۔

Imam Sahab ek aur ustad se yahi riwayat bayan karte hain, is mein hai, main uske bhai se mila, to usne kaha, Mujaashi ne sach kaha, Abu Ma'bad (Razi Allahu Anhu) ka naam nahi liya.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ فَلَقِيتُ أَخَاهُ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ مُجَاشِعٌ ‏.‏ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَبَا مَعْبَدٍ ‏.‏
