Sahih Muslim 1876h
Another version of the tradition narrated through a different chain of transmitters on the authority of Abu Huraira (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) has the same wording as the previous tradition. ‘Allah takes care of one who goes out in the way of Allah’ but ends in the words, ‘I would not lag behind any expedition which is undertaken to fight in the way of Allah, the Exalted.’
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس کے لیے ذمہ لیا ہے، جو اس کی راہ میں نکلتا ہے۔“ اس سے لے کر یہاں تک بیان کیا، ”میں کسی ایسے دستہ سے پیچھے نہ بیٹھتا جو اللہ تعالیٰ کی راہ میں جہاد کے لیے نکلتا۔“
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Razi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Allah Ta'ala ne uske liye zimma liya hai, jo uski raah mein nikalta hai." Isse le kar yahan tak bayan kiya, "Main kisi aise dasta se peeche na baithta jo Allah Ta'ala ki raah mein Jihad ke liye nikalta."
حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " تَضَمَّنَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ خَرَجَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ - إِلَى قَوْلِهِ - مَا تَخَلَّفْتُ خِلاَفَ سَرِيَّةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى " .
