Sahih Muslim 195
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira and Hudhaifa that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, would gather people. The believers would stand till the Paradise would be brought near them. They would come to Adam and say: O our father, open for us the Paradise. He would say: What turned ye out from the Paradise was the sin of your father Adam. I am not in a position to do that; better go to my son Ibrahim, the Friend of Allah. He (the Holy Prophet) said: He (Ibrahim) would say: I am not in a position to do that. Verily I had been the Friend (of Allah) from beyond, beyond; you better approach Moses (peace be upon him) with whom Allah conversed. They would come to Moses (peace be upon him), but he would say: I am not in a position to do that; you better go to Jesus, the Word of Allah and His Spirit. Jesus (peace be upon him) would say: I am not in a position to do that. So they would come to Muhammad (ﷺ). He would then be permitted (to open the door of Paradise). Trustworthiness and kinship would be despatched, and these would stand on the right and left of the Path and the first of you would pass with (the swiftness) of lightning. He (the narrator) said: I said, O thou who art far dearer to me than my father and my mother I which thing is like the passing of lightning? He said: Have you not seen lightning, how it passes and then comes back within the twinkling of an eye? Then (they would pass) like the passing of the wind, then like the passing of a bird, and the hastening of persons would be according to their deeds, and your Apostle would be standing on the Path saying: Save, O my Lord, save. (The people would go on passing) till the deeds of the servants would be failing in strength, till a man would come who would find it hard to go along (that Path) but crawlingly. He (the narrator) said: And on the sides of the Path hooks would be suspended ready to catch anyone whom these would be required (to catch). There would be those who would somehow or other succeed in trasversing that Path and some would be piled up in Hell. By Him in Whose Hand is the life of Abu Huraira it would take one seventy years to fathom the depth of Hell.
حضرت ابو ہریرہؓ اور حضرت حذیفہؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ لوگوں کو جمع کرے گا، تو مومن کھڑے ہوں گے حتیٰ کہ جنت ان کے قریب کردی جائے گی اور وہ آدمؑ کے پاس آکر عرض کریں گے: اے ہمارے ابا جان! ہمارے لیے جنت کا دروازہ کھلوائیے! تو وہ جواب دیں گے: جنت سے تمھارے نکالنے کا سبب تمھارے باپ آدم کی خطا ہی نہیں ہے، یہ کام کرنے والا میں نہیں ہوں۔ میرے بیٹے ابراہیم خلیل اللہ کے پاس جاؤ! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ابراہیم ؑبھی فرمائیں گے: یہ کام کرنے والا میں نہیں ہوں، میں تو خلیل پیچھے پیچھے تھا، موسیٰؑ کا رخ کرو! جن سے اللہ تعالیٰ نے حقیقتاً گفتگو فرمائی۔ تو لوگ موسیٰؑ کے پاس آئیں گے، تو وہ جواب دیں گے: یہ میرا منصب نہیں ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ کی روح اور اس کے کلمہ عیسیٰؑ کے پاس جاؤ! تو عیسیٰؑ فرمائیں گے: یہ میرا مقام نہیں ہے، تو لوگ محمدصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئیں گے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہوں گے اور آپ کو (سفارش کی) اجازت مل جائے گی۔ امانت اور رشتہ داری کو بھیج دیا جائے گا۔ وہ پُل کے دائیں اور بائیں کھڑے ہو جائیں گے۔ تم میں سے پہلا شخص بجلی کی تیزی سے گزر جائے گا۔“ تو میں نے پوچھا: آپ پر میرے ماں باپ قربان! بجلی کی تیزی سے گزر نے کی طرح کون سی شے ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم نے کبھی بجلی کی طرف نہیں دیکھا؟ کس طرح پلک جھپکنے کی طرح گزرتی اور لوٹتی ہے۔ پھر ہوا کے گزرنے کی طرح (تیزی سے)، پھر جس طرح پرندہ گزرتا ہے، اور آدمی دوڑتے ہیں۔ ان کے اعمال ان کو دوڑائیں گے (اپنے اپنے عملوں کے موافق تیزی سے گزریں گے) اور تمھارا نبی پُلِ صراط پر کھڑا ہو کر کہہ رہا ہو گا: اے میرے رب! بچا! بچا! حتیٰ کہ بندوں کے اعمال عاجز آجائیں گے، یہاں تک کہ ایک آدمی آئے گا، وہ گھسٹ کر ہی چل سکے گا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: پُل صراط کے دونوں کناروں پر لوہے کے آنکڑے لٹک رہے ہوں گے، جن کے بارے میں حکم ہوگا: ان کو پکڑیں گے تو بعض زخمی ہو کر نجات پا جائیں گے اور بعض کو دھکے سے آگ میں پھینک دیا جائے گا۔“ اور اس ذات کی قسم! جس کے قبضہ میں ابوہریرہ کی جان ہے، جہنم کی گہرائی ستر سال کی مسافت کے برابر ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radiallahu Anhu) aur Hazrat Huzaifa (Radiallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Allah Tabarak-o-Ta'ala logon ko jama kare ga, to momin khade hon ge hatta ke jannat in ke qareeb kardi jaye gi aur woh Adam (Alaihis Salam) ke paas aakar arz karein ge: Ae hamare abba jaan! Hamare liye jannat ka darwaza khulwaiye! To woh jawab dein ge: Jannat se tumhare nikalne ka sabab tumhare baap Adam ki khata hi nahin hai, yeh kaam karne wala main nahin hoon. Mere bete Ibrahim Khaleel-ullah ke paas jao! Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Ibrahim (Alaihis Salam) bhi farmaein ge: Yeh kaam karne wala main nahin hoon, main to khaleel peeche peeche tha, Musa (Alaihis Salam) ka rukh karo! Jin se Allah Ta'ala ne haqiqatan guftagu farmai. To log Musa (Alaihis Salam) ke paas aayein ge, to woh jawab dein ge: Yeh mera mansab nahin hai, Allah Ta'ala ki rooh aur is ke kalima Isa (Alaihis Salam) ke paas jao! To Isa (Alaihis Salam) farmaein ge: Yeh mera maqam nahin hai, to log Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas aayein ge, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) khade hon ge aur Aap ko (sifarish ki) ijazat mil jaye gi. Amanat aur rishta-dari ko bhej diya jaye ga. Woh pul ke dayein aur bayein khade ho jayein ge. Tum mein se pehla shakhs bijli ki teizi se guzar jaye ga." To main ne poocha: Aap par mere maan baap qurban! Bijli ki teizi se guzar ne ki tarah kaun si shay hai? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Tum ne kabhi bijli ki taraf nahin dekha? Kis tarah palak jhapakne ki tarah guzarti aur laut-ti hai. Phir hawa ke guzarne ki tarah (teizi se), phir jis tarah parinda guzarta hai, aur aadmi daudte hain. In ke aamaal in ko daudayein ge (apne apne amalon ke muwafiq teizi se guzrein ge) aur tumhara Nabi Pul-e-Sirat par khada ho kar keh raha ho ga: Ae mere Rabb! Bacha! Bacha! Hatta ke bandon ke aamaal aajiz aa jayein ge, yahan tak ke ek aadmi aaye ga, woh ghast kar hi chal sake ga. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Pul Sirat ke dono kinaron par lohe ke aankde latak rahe hon ge, jin ke baare mein hukm hoga: In ko pakadein ge to baaz zakhmi ho kar najat paa jayein ge aur baaz ko dhakke se aag mein phenk diya jaye ga." Aur is zaat ki qasam! Jis ke qabza mein Abu Huraira ki jaan hai, jahannum ki gehrai sattar saal ki masafat ke barabar hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفِ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ الْبَجَلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَأَبُو مَالِكٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالاَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى النَّاسَ فَيَقُومُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّى تُزْلَفَ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّةُ فَيَأْتُونَ آدَمَ فَيَقُولُونَ يَا أَبَانَا اسْتَفْتِحْ لَنَا الْجَنَّةَ . فَيَقُولُ وَهَلْ أَخْرَجَكُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ إِلاَّ خَطِيئَةُ أَبِيكُمْ آدَمَ لَسْتُ بِصَاحِبِ ذَلِكَ اذْهَبُوا إِلَى ابْنِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلِ اللَّهِ - قَالَ - فَيَقُولُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لَسْتُ بِصَاحِبِ ذَلِكَ إِنَّمَا كُنْتُ خَلِيلاً مِنْ وَرَاءَ وَرَاءَ اعْمِدُوا إِلَى مُوسَى صلى الله عليه وسلم الَّذِي كَلَّمَهُ اللَّهُ تَكْلِيمًا . فَيَأْتُونَ مُوسَى صلى الله عليه وسلم فَيَقُولُ لَسْتُ بِصَاحِبِ ذَلِكَ اذْهَبُوا إِلَى عِيسَى كَلِمَةِ اللَّهِ وَرُوحِهِ . فَيَقُولُ عِيسَى صلى الله عليه وسلم لَسْتُ بِصَاحِبِ ذَلِكَ . فَيَأْتُونَ مُحَمَّدًا صلى الله عليه وسلم فَيَقُومُ فَيُؤْذَنُ لَهُ وَتُرْسَلُ الأَمَانَةُ وَالرَّحِمُ فَتَقُومَانِ جَنَبَتَىِ الصِّرَاطِ يَمِينًا وَشِمَالاً فَيَمُرُّ أَوَّلُكُمْ كَالْبَرْقِ " . قَالَ قُلْتُ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي أَىُّ شَىْءٍ كَمَرِّ الْبَرْقِ قَالَ " أَلَمْ تَرَوْا إِلَى الْبَرْقِ كَيْفَ يَمُرُّ وَيَرْجِعُ فِي طَرْفَةِ يْنٍ ثُمَّ كَمَرِّ الرِّيحِ ثُمَّ كَمَرِّ الطَّيْرِ وَشَدِّ الرِّجَالِ تَجْرِي بِهِمْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ وَنَبِيُّكُمْ قَائِمٌ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ يَقُولُ رَبِّ سَلِّمْ سَلِّمْ حَتَّى تَعْجِزَ أَعْمَالُ الْعِبَادِ حَتَّى يَجِيءَ الرَّجُلُ فَلاَ يَسْتَطِيعُ السَّيْرَ إِلاَّ زَحْفًا - قَالَ - وَفِي حَافَتَىِ الصِّرَاطِ كَلاَلِيبُ مُعَلَّقَةٌ مَأْمُورَةٌ بِأَخْذِ مَنْ أُمِرَتْ بِهِ فَمَخْدُوشٌ نَاجٍ وَمَكْدُوسٌ فِي النَّارِ " . وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ قَعْرَ جَهَنَّمَ لَسَبْعُونَ خَرِيفًا .
