Chapter: It is disliked to make Nabidh by mixing dried dates and raisins

باب كَرَاهَةِ انْتِبَاذِ التَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ مَخْلُوطَيْنِ
Sahih Muslim 1987e
Isma'il bin Muslim al-'Abadi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported on the authority of the same chain of transmitters Allah's Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و ِآله وسلم) prohibited us that we should mix dry dates with unripe dates or (mix) grapes with dry dates (and prepare Nabidh). He also said: He who amongst you drinks-the rest of the Hadith is the same.
حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں منع فرمایا کہ ہم بسر کو تمر سے ملائیں، یا زبیب کو تمر سے ملائیں، یا زبیب کو بسر سے ملائیں اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میں سے جو اس کو پینا چاہتا ہو۔“ وکیع کی طرح روایت بیان کی۔
Jabir reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) as saying: Do not let your animals and children go out when the sun sets until the first and the darkest part of the night is over, for the Satan is let loose with the sinking of the sun until the darkest part of the night is over.
وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، الْعَبْدِيُّ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ نَخْلِطَ بُسْرًا بِتَمْرٍ أَوْ زَبِيبًا بِتَمْرٍ أَوْ زَبِيبًا بِبُسْرٍ . وَقَالَ " مَنْ شَرِبَهُ مِنْكُمْ " . فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ وَكِيعٍ .
