باب تَحْرِيمِ الْخَمْرِ وَبَيَانِ أَنَّهَا تَكُونُ مِنْ عَصِيرِ الْعِنَبِ وَمِنَ التَّمْرِ وَالْبُسْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ وَغَيْرِهَا مِمَّا يُسْكِرُ

Chapter: The prohibition of making vinegar from wine
باب تَحْرِيمِ تَخْلِيلِ الْخَمْرِ ‏‏

Chapter: The prohibition of using Khamr as a remedy; It is not a remedy
باب تَحْرِيمِ التَّدَاوِي بِالْخَمْرِ ‏‏

Chapter: Everything that is taken from the date palm or grape vine and steeped is called Khamr
باب بَيَانِ أَنَّ جَمِيعَ مَا يُنْبَذُ مِمَّا يُتَّخَذُ مِنَ النَّخْلِ وَالْعِنَبِ يُسَمَّى خَمْرًا ‏‏

Chapter: It is disliked to make Nabidh by mixing dried dates and raisins
باب كَرَاهَةِ انْتِبَاذِ التَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ مَخْلُوطَيْنِ ‏‏

Chapter: The prohibition of making Nabidh in Al-Muzaffat, Ad-Dubba' (Gourds), Al-Hantam and An-Naqir; This has been abrogated and now it is permitted, so long as it does not become intoxicating
باب النَّهْيِ عَنْ الاِنْتِبَاذِ فِي الْمُزَفَّتِ وَالدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَبَيَانِ أَنَّهُ مَنْسُوخٌ وَأَنَّهُ الْيَوْمَ حَلاَلٌ مَا لَمْ يَصِرْ مُسْكِرًا

Chapter: Every intoxicant is Khamr and all Khamr is Haram
باب بَيَانِ أَنَّ كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ خَمْرٌ وَأَنَّ كُلَّ خَمْرٍ حَرَامٌ ‏‏

Chapter: The punishment of one who drinks Khamr if he does not repent from it: he will be denied it in the hereafter
باب عُقُوبَةِ مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ إِذَا لَمْ يَتُبْ مِنْهَا بِمَنْعِهِ إِيَّاهَا فِي الآخِرَةِ ‏‏

Chapter: The permissibility of Nabidh so long as it has not become strong and has not become intoxicating
باب إِبَاحَةِ النَّبِيذِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَشْتَدَّ وَلَمْ يَصِرْ مُسْكِرًا ‏‏

Chapter: It is recommended to cover vessels, tie up waterskins, close doors and mention the name of Allah over them, extinguish lamps and fires when going to sleep, and keep children and animals in after maghrib
باب الأَمْرِ بِتَغْطِيَةِ الإِنَاءِ وَإِيكَاءِ السِّقَاءِ وَإِغْلاَقِ الأَبْوَابِ وَذِكْرِ اسْمِ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا وَإِطْفَاءِ السِّرَاجِ وَالنَّارِ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ وَكَفِّ الصِّبْيَانِ وَالْمَوَاشِي بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ

باب كَرَاهَةِ التَّنَفُّسِ فِي نَفْسِ الإِنَاءِ وَاسْتِحْبَابِ التَّنَفُّسِ ثَلاَثًا خَارِجَ الإِنَاءِ

Chapter: It is recommended to pass water and milk etc., to the right of the one who drinks first
باب اسْتِحْبَابِ إِدَارَةِ الْمَاءِ وَاللَّبَنِ وَنَحْوِهِمَا عَنْ يَمِينِ الْمُبْتَدِئِ ‏‏

Chapter: It is recommended to lick one's fingers and wipe the bowl, and to eat a piece of food that is dropped after removing any dirt on it. It is disliked to wipe one's hand before licking it, because of the possibility that the blessing of the food may
باب اسْتِحْبَابِ لَعْقِ الأَصَابِعِ وَالْقَصْعَةِ وَأَكْلِ اللُّقْمَةِ السَّاقِطَةِ بَعْدَ مَسْحِ مَا يُصِيبُهَا مِنْ أَذًى وَكَرَاهَةِ مَسْحِ الْيَدِ قَبْلَ لَعْقِهَا

Chapter: What the guest should do if he is accompanied by someone who was not invited by the host; it is recommended for the host to give permission to the one who has accompanied the guest
باب مَا يَفْعَلُ الضَّيْفُ إِذَا تَبِعَهُ غَيْرُ مَنْ دَعَاهُ صَاحِبُ الطَّعَامِ وَاسْتِحْبَابُ إِذْنِ صَاحِبِ الطَّعَامِ لِلتَّابِعِ

Chapter: It is permissible to take someone else to the house of one who you are certain will approve of that and will not mind. It is recommended to gather to eat
باب جَوَازِ اسْتِتْبَاعِهِ غَيْرَهُ إِلَى دَارِ مَنْ يَثِقُ بِرِضَاهُ بِذَلِكَ وَيَتَحَقَّقُهُ تَحَقُّقًا تَامًّا وَاسْتِحْبَابِ الاِجْتِمَاعِ عَلَى الطَّعَامِ

Chapter: It is permissible to eat soup, and it is recommended to eat squash, And for the people eating together to show preference to one another even if they are guests, so long as the host does not object to that
باب جَوَازِ أَكْلِ الْمَرَقِ وَاسْتِحْبَابِ أَكْلِ الْيَقْطِينِ وَإِيثَارِ أَهْلِ الْمَائِدَةِ بَعْضِهِمْ بَعْضًا وَإِنْ كَانُوا ضِيفَانًا إِذَا لَمْ يَكْرَهْ ذَلِكَ صَاحِبُ الطَّعَامِ

باب إِكْرَامِ الضَّيْفِ وَفَضْلِ إِيثَارِهِ ‏‏
