Chapter: The Prohibition Of Making Images Of Living Beings, And The Prohibition Of Using Images That Are Not Subjected To Disrespect In Furnishings And The Like; The Angels (Peace Be Upon Them) Do Not Enter A House In Which There Is An Image Or A Dog

بَاب تَحْرِيمِ تَصْوِيرِ صُورَةِ الْحَيَوَانِ وَتَحْرِيمِ اتِّخَاذِ مَا فِيهِ صُورَةٌ غَيْرُ مُمْتَهَنَةٍ بِالْفَرْشِ وَنَحْوِهِ
Sahih Muslim 2107g
This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) through another chain of transmitters but with a slight variation of wording (and the variation is that the narrator is reported to have said), the Prophet (ِصلى هللا ِعليه و آله وسلم) inclined towards that curtain and tore it with his hand.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کے پاس تشریف لائے، جیسا کہ مذکورہ بالا حدیث ہے، مگر اس میں یہ الفاظ ہیں، پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پردے کی طرف جھکے اور اسے اپنے ہاتھ سے پھاڑ دیا۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anha) bayan karti hain ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) un ke paas tashreef laye, jaisa ke mazkora bala hadith hai, magar us mein yeh alfaz hain, phir Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) parde ki taraf jhuke aur usay apne haath se phaad diya.
وَحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ أَهْوَى إِلَى الْقِرَامِ فَهَتَكَهُ بِيَدِهِ .
