Chapter: The Prohibition Of Making Images Of Living Beings, And The Prohibition Of Using Images That Are Not Subjected To Disrespect In Furnishings And The Like; The Angels (Peace Be Upon Them) Do Not Enter A House In Which There Is An Image Or A Dog

بَاب تَحْرِيمِ تَصْوِيرِ صُورَةِ الْحَيَوَانِ وَتَحْرِيمِ اتِّخَاذِ مَا فِيهِ صُورَةٌ غَيْرُ مُمْتَهَنَةٍ بِالْفَرْشِ وَنَحْوِهِ
Sahih Muslim 2107f
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) reported that Allah's Apostle (صلى هللا عليه ِو آله وسلم) entered (my apartment) and I had hung (on the door of my apartment) a thin curtain having pictures on it. The color of his face underwent a change. He then took hold of that curtain and tore it and then said, the most grievous torment for the people on the Day of Resurrection would be for those who try to imitate Allah in the act of creation.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتی ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے ہاں تشریف لائے اور میں نے ایک باریک پردہ تانا ہوا تھا، جس میں تصویر تھی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے چہرے کا رنگ بدل گیا، پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس پردہ کو پکڑ کو چاک کر دیا، پھر فرمایا: ”قیامت کے دن جو لوگ سب سے سخت عذاب میں مبتلا ہوں گے ان میں وہ لوگ جو اللہ کی تخلیق کی مشابہت کرتے ہیں۔“
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anha) bayan karti hain, Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) mere haan tashreef laye aur main ne ek bareek parda tana hua tha, jis mein tasweer thi to Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ke chehre ka rang badal gaya, phir Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne us parda ko pakad ko chaak kar diya, phir farmaya: "Qayamat ke din jo log sab se sakht azab mein mubtala honge un mein woh log jo Allah ki takhleeq ki mushabihat karte hain."
حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَنَا مُتَسَتِّرَةٌ بِقِرَامٍ فِيهِ صُورَةٌ فَتَلَوَّنَ وَجْهُهُ ثُمَّ تَنَاوَلَ السِّتْرَ فَهَتَكَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنَّ مِنْ أَشَدِّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الَّذِينَ يُشَبِّهُونَ بِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ " .
