Chapter: Allah will say to Adam: "Bring out the Portion of the Fire; Nine Hundred and Ninety-Nine Out of Every Thousand."

باب قَوْلِهِ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ لِآدَمَ أَخْرِجْ بَعْثَ النَّارِ مِنْ كُلِّ أَلْفٍ تِسْعَ مِائَةٍ وَتِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ
Sahih Muslim 222b
The same Hadith has been narrated from A'mash on the authority of the same chain of transmitters with the exception of these words : You would be no more among men (on the Day of Resurrection) but like a white hair on (the body of) a black ox, or like a black hair on (the body of) a white ox, and he made no mention of: a strip on the foreleg of an ass.
وکیع اور معاویہ دونوں نے یہ کہا: ”تم اس وقت لوگوں میں اس سفید بال کی طرح ہو گے جو سیاہ بیل میں ہوتا ہے، یا سیاہ بال کی طرح جو سفید بیل میں ہوتا ہے۔“ ان دونوں نے گدھے کے اگلے پاؤں کے نشان کا تذکرہ نہیں کیا۔
Waki (Rehmatullah Alaih) aur Muawiyah (Rehmatullah Alaih) dono ne ye kaha: "Tum is waqt logon mein is safaid baal ki tarah ho ge jo siyah bail mein hota hai, ya siyah baal ki tarah jo safaid bail mein hota hai." In dono ne gadhe ke agle paon ke nishan ka tazkira nahin kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُمَا قَالاَ " مَا أَنْتُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي النَّاسِ إِلاَّ كَالشَّعْرَةِ الْبَيْضَاءِ فِي الثَّوْرِ الأَسْوَدِ أَوْ كَالشَّعْرَةِ السَّوْدَاءِ فِي الثَّوْرِ الأَبْيَضِ " . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرَا " أَوْ كَالرَّقْمَةِ فِي ذِرَاعِ الْحِمَارِ " .
