Chapter: The Prohibition Of Killing Ants

باب النَّهْىِ عَنْ قَتْلِ النَّمْلِ،

Abu Huraira (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) reported so many Ahadith and one of them was this that Allah's Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) said, when an Apostle from amongst the Apostles of Allah came to sit under a tree an ant bit him. He commanded his luggage to be removed from under the tree and he commanded it to be burnt in the fire and Allah revealed to him, why one ant (which had bitten you) was not killed (and why did you burn the others)?
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کی ہمام بن منبہ کو سنائی ہوئی حدیثوں میں سے ایک یہ ہے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”انبیاء میں سے ایک نبی نے ایک درخت کے نیچے پڑاؤ کیا تو اسے ایک چیونٹی نے کاٹ لیا تو انہوں نے اپنے سامان کو اس کے نیچے سے نکالنے کا حکم دیا اور اس کے بارے میں حکم دیا تو اسے آگ میں جلا دیا گیا، سو اللہ نے اس کی طرف وحی کی، ایک ہی چیونٹی کو کیوں قتل نہ کروایا۔“
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Razi Allahu Anhu) ki Hammam bin Munabbih ko sunai hui hadeeson mein se ek yeh hai, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Anbiya mein se ek Nabi ne ek darakht ke neeche padao kiya to use ek chionti ne kaat liya to unhon ne apne saman ko uske neeche se nikalne ka hukm diya aur uske bare mein hukm diya to use aag mein jala diya gaya, so Allah ne uski taraf Wahi ki, ek hi chionti ko kyun qatal na karwaya."
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، قَالَ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " نَزَلَ نَبِيٌّ مِنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ فَلَدَغَتْهُ نَمْلَةٌ فَأَمَرَ بِجِهَازِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا وَأَمَرَ بِهَا فَأُحْرِقَتْ فِي النَّارِ - قَالَ - فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ فَهَلاَّ نَمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً " .
