Sahih Muslim 2344b
Jabir bin Samura (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that there had appeared some whiteness on the front part of the head and beard of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). When he applied oil, it did not become visible, but when he did not (apply) oil, it became apparent. And he had a thick beard. A person said, his face was as (bright) as the sword. Thereupon Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, no, it was round and like the sun and the moon. And I saw the seal near his shoulder of the size of a pigeon's egg and its color was the same as that of his body.
حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سر اور ڈاڑھی کے اگلےبال سفید ہو گئے تھے، اور جب آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تیل لگا لیتے تو وہ واضح نہیں ہوتے تھے، اور جب آپ کا سر پراگندہ ہوتا، نظر آتے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی داڑھی کے بال بہت تھے ایک آدمی نے پوچھا: آپ کا چہرہ تلوار جیسا تھا؟ یعنی لمبا چمکدار تھا، کہا نہیں، بلکہ آفاب و مہتاب جیسا تھا، گول تھا اور روشن تھا اور میں نے آپ کے کندھے کے پاس کبوتری کے انڈے جیسی مہردیکھی، جو آپ کے جسم کے مشابہ تھی۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samurah (Razi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke sar aur dadhi ke agle baal safed ho gaye the, aur jab Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) tel laga lete to woh wazih nahi hote the, aur jab Aap ka sar paragandah hota, nazar aate aur Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki dadhi ke baal bahut the ek aadmi ne poocha: Aap ka chehra talwar jaisa tha? Yani lamba chamakdar tha, kaha nahi, balki aftab o mahtab jaisa tha, gol tha aur roshan tha aur main ne Aap ke kandhe ke paas kabootri ke ande jaisi mohar dekhi, jo Aap ke jism ke mushabah thi.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ، يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَدْ شَمِطَ مُقَدَّمُ رَأْسِهِ وَلِحْيَتِهِ وَكَانَ إِذَا ادَّهَنَ لَمْ يَتَبَيَّنْ وَإِذَا شَعِثَ رَأْسُهُ تَبَيَّنَ وَكَانَ كَثِيرَ شَعْرِ اللِّحْيَةِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَجْهُهُ مِثْلُ السَّيْفِ قَالَ لاَ بَلْ كَانَ مِثْلَ الشَّمْسِ وَالْقَمَرِ وَكَانَ مُسْتَدِيرًا وَرَأَيْتُ الْخَاتَمَ عِنْدَ كَتِفِهِ مِثْلَ بَيْضَةِ الْحَمَامَةِ يُشْبِهُ جَسَدَهُ .
