Chapter: Stern Warning To One Who Torments People Unlawfully

باب الْوَعِيدِ الشَّدِيدِ لِمَنْ عَذَّبَ النَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ
Sahih Muslim 2613c
This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Hisham with the same chain of transmitters and he made this addition of Jarir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that (Hisham bin Hakim) went to Umair bin Sa'd who was then ruler in Palestine, and he narrated to him this Hadith and he (submitting before the words of the Prophet ﷺ) commanded that they should be let off and so they were let off.
امام صاحب یہی روایت اپنے تین اساتذہ کی دوسندوں سے بیان کرتے ہیں ہشام سے جریر کی روایت میں یہ اضافہ ہے، ان دنوں لوگوں کے فلسطین میں امیر حضرت عمیر بن سعد رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ تھے تو حضرت ہشام رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ان کے پاس گئے اور انہیں یہ حدیث سنائی تو انھوں نے ان کو چھوڑ نے کا حکم دیا اور وہ چھوڑدئیے گئے۔
Imam Sahab yahi riwayat apne teen asatiza ki do sanadon se bayan karte hain Hisham (Rahmatullah Alaih) se Jarir (Razi Allahu Anhu) ki riwayat mein yeh izafa hai, un dinon logon ke Palestine mein Ameer Hazrat Umayr bin Saad (Razi Allahu Anhu) the to Hazrat Hisham (Razi Allahu Anhu) un ke paas gaye aur unhen yeh hadees sunayi to unhon ne un ko chhodne ka hukum diya aur woh chhod diye gaye.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ هِشَامٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَزَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ وَأَمِيرُهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ عُمَيْرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَلَى فِلَسْطِينَ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَحَدَّثَهُ فَأَمَرَ بِهِمْ فَخُلُّوا .
