Sahih Muslim 2658b
Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, there is none born but is created to his true nature (Islam). It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian or a Magian quite as beasts produce their young with their limbs perfect. Do you see anything deficient in them? Then he quoted the Qur'an – [Therefore, stand firm in your devotion to the upright faith, (which is as per) nature (fitra) made by Allah, the one on which mankind is created. The laws of Nature ordained by Allah cannot be changed. That is the standard of true faith, but most among mankind do not know.] (Ar-Room – 30)
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:"ہر مولود (پیدا ہونے والا) فطرت پر پیدا ہوتا ہے، چنانچہ اس کے والدین اس کو یہودی، عیسائی اور مجوسی بنا ڈالتے ہیں، جیسے چوپائے کا بچہ، کامل الاعضاء پیدا ہوتا ہے، کیا تمھیں ان میں کوئی کٹے ہوئے کان والا نظر آتا ہے۔"پھر ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں، اگر چاہو تو یہ آیت پڑھ لو۔"اس فطرت کی پابندی کرو، جس پر اللہ نے لوگوں کو پیدا کیا ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ کی پیدا کردہ سرشت بدل نہیں سکتی۔"(روم آیت نمبر30)
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Raziyallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ki Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Har mawlood (paida hone wala) fitrat par paida hota hai, chunanchah us ke walidain us ko Yahoodi, 'Isai aur Majusi bana daalte hain, jaise choupaye ka bachcha, kamil-ul-a'za paida hota hai, kya tumhein un mein koi kate hue kaan wala nazar aata hai." Phir Abu Hurairah (Raziyallahu Anhu) farmate hain, "Agar chaho toh yeh aayat padh lo, 'Is fitrat ki pabandi karo, jis par Allah ne logon ko paida kiya hai, Allah Ta'ala ki paida karda sirisht badal nahin sakti.'" (Rum Ayat Number 30)
حَدَّثَنَا حَاجِبُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَا مِنْ مَوْلُودٍ إِلاَّ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ وَيُمَجِّسَانِهِ كَمَا تُنْتَجُ الْبَهِيمَةُ بَهِيمَةً جَمْعَاءَ هَلْ تُحِسُّونَ فِيهَا مِنْ جَدْعَاءَ " . ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَاقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ { فِطْرَةَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا لاَ تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ} الآيَةَ .
