Chapter: The Prohibition Of, And Warning Against Seeking Out Verses Of The Quran Whose Meanings Are Not Decisive; The Prohibition Of Arguing About The Qur'an

بَاب النَّهْيِ عَنْ اتِّبَاعِ مُتَشَابِهِ الْقُرْآنِ وَالتَّحْذِيرِ مِنْ مُتَّبِعِيهِ وَالنَّهْيِ عَنْ الِاخْتِلَافِ فِي الْقُرْآنِ
Sahih Muslim 2667c
Abu Imran reported that Jundub (رضي الله تعالى عنه) told us as we we-re young boys living in Kilfa, that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) had said, ‘recite the Qur'an.’ The rest of the Hadith is the same.
ابو عمران رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں۔جندب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ہمیں بتایا، جبکہ ہم کوفہ میں بچے تھے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:"آگے مذکورہ بالا روایت ہے۔
Abu Imran (Raziyallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain. Jundab (Raziyallahu Anhu) ne hamein bataya, jabke hum Koofa mein bachche the, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Aage mazkurah bala riwayat hai.
حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ صَخْرٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ قَالَ قَالَ لَنَا جُنْدَبٌ وَنَحْنُ غِلْمَانٌ بِالْكُوفَةِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ " . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِهِمَا .
