Sahih Muslim 2675c
Hammam bin Munabbih reported so many Ahadith from Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and one out of them is this that Allah's Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) said that Allah stated, when My servant draws close to me by the span of a palm, I draw close to him by the space of a cubit, and when he draws close to Me by the space of a cubit, I draw close to him by the space (covered) by two hands, and when he draws close to Me by the space (covered by) two hands, I go in hurry towards him.
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ہمام بن منبہ رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کو بہت سی احادیث سنائیں، ان میں سے ایک یہ ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:"اللہ تعالیٰ کا فرمان ہے، جب میرا بندہ میری طرف ایک بالشت بڑھتا ہے تو میں اس کی طرف دو بالشت (ایک ہاتھ) بڑھتا ہوں اور جب وہ میری طرف ایک ہاتھ بڑھتا ہے تو میں اس کی طرف چار ہاتھ بڑھتا ہوں اور جب وہ میری طرف دو ہاتھ بڑھتا ہے تو میں اس کی طرف اس سے زیادہ تیزی سے بڑھ کر آتاہوں۔"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Raziyallahu Anhu) ne Hammam bin Munabbih (Rahmatullah Alaih) ko bahut si ahadith sunayin, un mein se ek yeh hai ki Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Allah Ta'ala ka farman hai, 'Jab mera banda meri taraf ek balisht badhta hai toh main us ki taraf do balisht (ek haath) badhta hoon aur jab woh meri taraf ek haath badhta hai toh main us ki taraf char haath badhta hoon aur jab woh meri taraf do haath badhta hai toh main us ki taraf us se zyada tezi se badh kar aata hoon.'"
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، قَالَ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَالَ إِذَا تَلَقَّانِي عَبْدِي بِشِبْرٍ تَلَقَّيْتُهُ بِذِرَاعٍ وَإِذَا تَلَقَّانِي بِذِرَاعٍ تَلَقَّيْتُهُ بِبَاعٍ وَإِذَا تَلَقَّانِي بِبَاعٍ أَتَيْتُهُ بِأَسْرَعَ " .
