Chapter: The Arrogant Will Enter The Fire, And The Humble Will Enter Paradise

باب النَّارُ يَدْخُلُهَا الْجَبَّارُونَ وَالْجَنَّةُ يَدْخُلُهَا الضُّعَفَاءُ
Sahih Muslim 2849b
Abu Sa'id (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) as saying, when the inmates of Paradise would be admitted to Paradise and the inmates of Hell would be admitted to Hell, it would be said (to the inmates of Paradise), O inmates of Paradise. The rest of the Hadith is the same but with this variation (that he only) said. That is the word of Allah, the Exalted. And he did not say: Then Allah's Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) recited, and he did not make a mention of his having pointed with his hand towards the (material) world.
حضرت ابو سعید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں،رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:"جب اہل جنت کو جنت میں داخل کر دیا جائے گا اور اہل دوزخ کو آگ میں کہا جائےگا، اے اہل جنت!"پھر مذکورہ بالا روایت کے ہم معنی روایت بیان کی ہاں اتنا فرق ہے کہ آپ نے فرمایا:"اللہ عزوجل کے اس قول میں اس کو بیان کیا گیا ہے۔"یہ نہیں کہا، پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پڑھا اور اپنے ہاتھ سے دنیا کی طرف اشارہ کرنا بھی بیان نہیں کیا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Jab ahl-e-jannat ko jannat mein dakhil kar diya jaye ga aur ahl-e-dozakh ko aag mein, kaha jaye ga: Ay ahl-e-jannat!" Phir mazkoora-baala riwayat ke hum-maani riwayat bayan ki. Haan itna farq hai ke Aap ne farmaya: "Allah Azzawajal ke is qaul mein is ko bayan kiya gaya hai." Yeh nahi kaha, phir Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne padha, aur apne haath se dunya ki taraf ishara karna bhi bayan nahi kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي، سَعِيدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا أُدْخِلَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ النَّارَ قِيلَ يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ " . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ " فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " . وَلَمْ يَقُلْ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَيْضًا وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى الدُّنْيَا .
