باب الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ مِنْ خِصَالِ الإِيمَانِ أَنْ يُحِبَّ لأَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِه مِنَ الْخَيْرِ

Sahih Muslim 45b
It is narrated on the authority of Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) observed : By Him in whose Hand is my life, no, servant (truly) believes till he likes for his neighbor, or he (the Prophet ﷺ) said: for his brother, whatever he likes for himself.
حضرت انس بن مالک ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اس ذات کی قسم!جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے اس وقت تک بندہ مومن نہیں ہو سکتا جب تک وہ اپنے پڑوسی کے لیے پسند کرے۔“ یا فرمایا: ”اپنے بھائی کے لیے وہ چیز پسند کرے جو اپنے لیے کرے۔“
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (Radhi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Is zaat ki qasam! jis ke hath mein meri jaan hai is waqt tak banda momin nahi ho sakta jab tak woh apne parosi ke liye pasand kare." Ya farmaya: "Apne bhai ke liye woh cheez pasand kare jo apne liye kare."
وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ عَبْدٌ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِجَارِهِ - أَوْ قَالَ لأَخِيهِ - مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ " .
