باب الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الصُّبْحِ
Sahih Muslim 462a
Ibn Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Umm al-Fadl ( رضي الله تعالى عنها) daughter of al-Harith (رضي الله تعالى عنه) heard him reciting - ْ فًاْ سَالَتِ عُروَالْمُر[ By those sent forth to spread goodness]. (Sura al-Mursalaat). (Upon this) she remarked : O my son, you reminded me by the recitation of this Surah (the fact) that it was the last Surah that I heard from the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and he recited it in the evening prayer.
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالی عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ام الفضل رضی اللہ تعالی عنہا نے مجھے ﴿وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا﴾ پڑھتے ہوئے سنا تو کہنے لگیں، اے بیٹے! تو نے یہ سورت پڑھ کر، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی قرأت یاد دلا دی ہے، میں نے آخری مرتبہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مغرب کی نماز میں یہ سورت سنی تھی۔
Hazrat Ibn-e-Abbas (Radhiallahu Anhum) bayan karte hain ke Ummul Fazl (Radhiallahu Anha) ne mujhe 'Wal-mursalaati urfan' parhte hue suna to kehne lagein, ae bete! tu ne ye surah parh kar, Aap (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ki qirat yaad dila di hai, main ne aakhri martaba Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) se Maghrib ki namaz mein ye surah suni thi.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ إِنَّ أُمَّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ سَمِعَتْهُ وَهُوَ، يَقْرَأُ { وَالْمُرْسَلاَتِ عُرْفًا} فَقَالَتْ يَا بُنَىَّ لَقَدْ ذَكَّرْتَنِي بِقِرَاءَتِكَ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ إِنَّهَا لآخِرُ مَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ بِهَا فِي الْمَغْرِبِ .
