باب بَيَانِ كَوْنِ النَّهْىِ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ، مِنَ الإِيمَانِ وَأَنَّ الإِيمَانَ يَزِيدُ وَيَنْقُصُ وَأَنَّ الأَمْرَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّهْيَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَاجِبَانِ
Sahih Muslim 50b
The same Hadith has been transmitted by another chain of narrators on the authority of 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) who observed : 'Never was there one among the prophets who had not disciples who followed his direction and followed his ways.' The remaining part of the Hadith is like that as narrated by Salih (رضي الله تعالى عنه) but the arrival of Ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and the meeting of Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) with him is not mentioned.
حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: ”جو نبی بھی گزرا ہے اس کے ساتھ کچھ حواری (معاون، مدد گار) تھے۔ جو اس کی راہ ورسم کو اپناتے اور اس کی سنت کی پیروی کرتے تھے۔“ آگے صالح کی روایت کی طرح ہے، لیکن اس میں عبداللہ بن مسعود ؓ کی آمد اور عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ سے ان کی ملاقات کا تذکرہ نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ood (Radhi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Jo Nabi bhi guzra hai is ke sath kuch hawari (mu'awin, madad-gar) thay. Jo is ki rah-o-rasm ko apnaate aur is ki sunnat ki pairwi karte thay." Aage Salih ki riwayat ki tarah hai, lekin is mein Abdullah bin Mas'ood (Radhi Allahu Anhu) ki aamad aur Abdullah bin Umar (Radhi Allahu Anhu) se un ki mulaqat ka tazkira nahi hai.
وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ الْفُضَيْلِ الْخَطْمِيُّ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، مَوْلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَا كَانَ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلاَّ وَقَدْ كَانَ لَهُ حَوَارِيُّونَ يَهْتَدُونَ بِهَدْيِهِ وَيَسْتَنُّونَ بِسُنَّتِهِ " . مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ صَالِحٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ قُدُومَ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَاجْتِمَاعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ مَعَهُ .
