Chapter: The permissibility of carrying children during prayer, and their garments are regarded as being pure until it is realized that they are impure. Few actions will not invalidate the prayer, and the same applies if several such actions are done but

Sahih Muslim 543d
Abu Qatada (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that when they were sitting in the mosque, the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came to us, and the rest of the Hadith is the same except that he made no mention that he led people in this prayer.
حضرت ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں: ہم مسجد میں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے پھر مذکورہ بالا راویوں کے ہم معنی روایت سنائی، فرق یہ ہے اس نے یہ بیان نہیں کیا کہ اس نماز میں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کی امامت فرمائی تھی۔
Hazrat Abu Qatada (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) bayan karte hain: Hum masjid mein baithe hue thay ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) hamare paas tashreef laye phir mazkoora bala rawiyon ke ham-maani riwayat sunayi, farq yeh hai us ne yeh bayan nahi kiya ke is namaz mein Aap (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ne logon ki imamat farmayi thi.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ، سَمِعَ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ، يَقُولُ بَيْنَا نَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ جُلُوسٌ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمْ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَنَّهُ أَمَّ النَّاسَ فِي تِلْكَ الصَّلاَةِ .
