Chapter: Clarifying that no one will enter paradise but the believers; loving the believers is part of faith and spreading Salam is a means of attaining that

باب بَيَانِ أَنَّهُ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلاَّ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَنَّ مَحَبَّةَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ وَأَنَّ إِفْشَاءَ السَّلاَمِ سَبَبٌ لِحُصُولِهَا
Sahih Muslim 54b
Zuhair bin Harb said : Jarir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported on the authority of A'mash ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) with this chain of transmitters that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) observed : By him in Whose hand is my life, you shall not enter Paradise unless you believe. The rest of the Hadith is the same as above, as narrated by Abu Mu'awiya and Waki'.
امام صاحب اپنے ایک اور استاد سے یہ حدیث یوں بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اس ذات کی قسم جس کے قبضہ میں میری جان ہے! تم جب تک ایمان نہیں لاؤ گے جنّت میں داخل نہیں ہو گے۔“ آگے کی عبارت ابو معاویہؒ اور وکیعؒ کی حدیث کی طرح ہے۔
Imam Sahib apne ek aur ustad se yeh hadith yun bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Is zaat ki qasam jis ke qabza mein meri jaan hai! tum jab tak iman nahi lao ge jannat mein dakhil nahi hoge." Aage ki ibarat Abu Muawiyah (Rahmatullahi Alaih) aur Wakee (Rahmatullahi Alaih) ki hadith ki tarah hai.
وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لاَ تَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا " . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ وَوَكِيعٍ .
