Sahih Muslim 561c
Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) forbade the eating of the flesh of domestic asses.
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے گھریلو گدھوں کا گوشت کھانے سے منع فرمایا۔
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) having said: O people of Medina, do not eat the flesh of sacrificed animals beyond three days. Ibn al-Muthanni said: Three days. They (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) complained to the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) that they had children and servants of theirs (to feed), whereupon he said: Eat, and feed others, and store, and make it a provision of food.
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، وَسَالِمٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الأَهْلِيَّةِ .
