Sahih Muslim 593f
Mughira bin Shu'ba reported Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) as saying, verily, Allah, the Glorious and Majestic, has forbidden for you, disobedience to mothers, and burying alive daughters, withholding the right of others in spite of having the power to return that to them, and demanding that (which is not one's legitimate right). And He disapproved three things for you, irrelevant talk, persistent questioning and wasting of wealth.
حضرت مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”بےشک اللہ تعالیٰ نے تم پر ماؤں کی نافرمانی، بچیوں کو زندہ درگور کرنا اور حقوق ادا نہ کرنا اور ناحق مطالبہ کرنا حرام ٹھہرایا ہے اور تمہاری تین باتوں کو ناپسند فرمایا ہے، قیل و قال، کثرت سوال اور مال کا ضیاع۔“
Hazrat Mughira bin Shu'ba (Radi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: 'Beshak Allah Ta'ala ne tum par maon ki nafarmani, bachiyon ko zinda dargor karna aur huqooq ada na karna aur nahaq mutalba karna haram thehraya hai aur tumhari teen baton ko napasand farmaya hai: Qeel o qaal, kasrat-e-sawal aur maal ka ziaya.'
وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ وَرَّادٍ، مَوْلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ عُقُوقَ الأُمَّهَاتِ وَوَأْدَ الْبَنَاتِ وَمَنْعًا وَهَاتِ وَكَرِهَ لَكُمْ ثَلاَثًا قِيلَ وَقَالَ وَكَثْرَةَ السُّؤَالِ وَإِضَاعَةَ الْمَالِ " .
