Sahih Muslim 648d
Abu Dharr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) struck my thigh and said, how would you act if you survive among the people who would delay prayers beyond their (prescribed) time? He (Abu Dharr ) said, what do you command? He (the Prophet ﷺ) said, observe prayer at its prescribed time, then go (to meet) your needs, and if the Iqama is pronounced, and you are present in the mosque, then observe prayer (along with the Jama'at).
حضرت ابو ذر رضی اللہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میری ران پر ہاتھ مار کر فرمایا: ”تمہاری کیا حالت ہو گی جب تم ایسے لوگوں میں رہ جاؤ گے جو نماز کو اس کے وقت کے بعد پڑھیں گے؟ تو انہوں نے پوچھا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا کیا حکم ہے؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نماز اس کے وقت پر پڑھ لو۔ پھر اپنی ضرورت کے لیے چلے جاؤ، اگر تیری مسجد میں موجودگی میں تکبیر ہو جائے تو پڑھ لو۔“
Hazrat Abu Zar (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ne meri raan par hath maar kar farmaya: 'Tumhari kya halat hogi jab tum aise logon mein reh jaoge jo namaz ko uske waqt ke baad parhenge? Toh unhone pucha: Aap (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ka kya hukm hai? Aap (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Namaz iske waqt par parh lo. Phir apni zaroorat ke liye chale jao, agar teri masjid mein maujoodgi mein takbeer ho jaye toh parh lo.'
وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ بُدَيْلٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْعَالِيَةِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَضَرَبَ فَخِذِي " كَيْفَ أَنْتَ إِذَا بَقِيتَ فِي قَوْمٍ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلاَةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا " . قَالَ قَالَ مَا تَأْمُرُ قَالَ " صَلِّ الصَّلاَةَ لِوَقْتِهَا ثُمَّ اذْهَبْ لِحَاجَتِكَ فَإِنْ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ وَأَنْتَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَصَلِّ " .
