Sahih Muslim 648e
'Abu'l-'Aliyat al-Bara reported:Ibn Ziyad delayed the prayer. 'Abdullah b. Samit came to me and I placed a chair for him and he sat in it and I made a mention of whit Ibn Ziyad had done. He bit hit lips (as a sign of extreme anger and annoyance) and struck at my thigh and said: I asked Abu Dharr as you have asked me, and he struck my thigh just as I have struck your thigh, and said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as you have asked me and he struck my thigh just as I have struck your thigh, and he (the Holy Prophet) said: Observe prayer at its prescribed time, and if you can say prayer along with them. do so, and do not say." I have observed prayer and so I shall not pray."
حضرت ابو عالیہ براء رحمۃ اللہ علیہ سے روایت ہے کہ ابن زیاد نے نماز میں تأخیر کر دی اور میرے پاس عبداللہ بن صامت تشریف لائے، میں نے انہیں کرسی پیش کی وہ اس پر بیٹھ گئے، میں نے انہیں ابن زیاد کی حرکت سے آگاہ کیا تو انہوں نے اپنا ہونٹ کاٹا اور میری ران پر ہاتھ مارا اور کہا، جس طرح تو نے مجھ سے پوچھا ہے، اس طرح میں نے ابو ذر رضی اللہ سے پوچھا تھا تو انہوں نے میری ران پر ہاتھ مارا جس طرح میں نے تیری ران پر ہاتھ مارا ہے۔ اور کہا میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا تھا، جس طرح تو نے مجھ سے پوچھا ہے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میری ران پر ہاتھ مارا جس طرح میں نے تمہاری ران پر ہاتھ مارا ہے اور فرمایا: ”نماز وقت پر پڑھو، پھر اگر ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنے کا موقعہ ملے یا ان کے پاس موجود ہوتے ہوئے نماز تمہیں پا لے تو پڑھ لوگوں کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر فرمایا: اور یہ نہ کہو میں نے نماز پڑھ لی ہے۔ اس لیے میں نہیں پڑھتا۔“
Hazrat Abu Aliyah Bara (Rehmatullah Alayh) se riwayat hai ke Ibn Ziyad ne namaz mein takheer kar di aur mere paas Abdullah bin Samit tashreef laaye, maine unhein kursi pesh ki woh us par baith gaye, maine unhein Ibn Ziyad ki harkat se aagah kiya toh unhone apna hont kaata aur meri raan par hath maara aur kaha, jis tarah tune mujh se pucha hai, is tarah maine Abu Zar (Radiyallahu Anhu) se pucha tha toh unhone meri raan par hath maara jis tarah maine teri raan par hath maara hai. Aur kaha maine Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) se pucha tha, jis tarah tune mujh se pucha hai toh Aap (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ne meri raan par hath maara jis tarah maine tumhari raan par hath maara hai aur farmaya: 'Namaz waqt par parho, phir agar unke saath namaz parhne ka mauqa mile ya unke paas maujood hote huay namaz tumhein pa le toh parh logon ki taraf mutawajja ho kar farmaya: aur yeh na kaho maine namaz parh li hai. Is liye mein nahi parhta.'
وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ الْبَرَّاءِ، قَالَ أَخَّرَ ابْنُ زِيَادٍ الصَّلاَةَ فَجَاءَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ فَأَلْقَيْتُ لَهُ كُرْسِيًّا فَجَلَسَ عَلَيْهِ فَذَكَرْتُ لَهُ صَنِيعَ ابْنِ زِيَادٍ فَعَضَّ عَلَى شَفَتِهِ وَضَرَبَ فَخِذِي وَقَالَ إِنِّي سَأَلْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ كَمَا سَأَلْتَنِي فَضَرَبَ فَخِذِي كَمَا ضَرَبْتُ فَخِذَكَ وَقَالَ إِنِّي سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَمَا سَأَلْتَنِي فَضَرَبَ فَخِذِي كَمَا ضَرَبْتُ فَخِذَكَ وَقَالَ " صَلِّ الصَّلاَةَ لِوَقْتِهَا فَإِنْ أَدْرَكَتْكَ الصَّلاَةُ مَعَهُمْ فَصَلِّ وَلاَ تَقُلْ إِنِّي قَدْ صَلَّيْتُ فَلاَ أُصَلِّي " .
