Sahih Muslim 677j

Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى ہللا عليه و آله وسلم) observed Qunut for one month invoking curse upon some tribes of Arabia (who were responsible for the murders in Bi'r Ma'una and Raji'), but then abandoned it.

حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عرب کے کچھ قبائل کے خلاف ایک ماہ دعائے قنوت کی، پھر اسے چھوڑ دیا۔

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (Radiyallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ne Arab ke kuch qabail ke khilaf ek mah duaye qunoot ki, phir isay chor diya.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَنَتَ شَهْرًا يَدْعُو عَلَى أَحْيَاءٍ مِنْ أَحْيَاءِ الْعَرَبِ ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ ‏.‏
